Beanpotter recently had a great idea (proof that everyone has one in their life at some point).
All those games that we have kicking around unstarted are not counting against our completion % stats, so we are not particularly motivated to start them.
The idea of the board is to start each and every one of those games, gaining at least 1 achievement. The shame of having our completion % collapse will no doubt shame many of us into rebuilding this % as quickly as possible.
Most people will find that dumping all of their unstarted games into the mix causes a drop of 10-20% on their completion %. Set a target of Xmas to get back to your original completion %.
I have ME 1&2, Dragon Age, Fallout 3, NFS Shift and Guitar Heros 3 & 5 that all fall into this category.

Join the social experiment and force yourself to play those games that are just gathering dust.
As a guide for gamers with GS > 100k, probably look for about a 10% fall in completion. For those under 100k possibly 15-20%.
Please drop me a note of your comp % before and after you dump the new games onto the list. |

This is a good idea: but I only have two: Portal: Still Alive and Magic The Gathering. I'm not worried about my completion percentage. I'm worried about my Ratio. Still if I get the urge to do this, i'll join.

It was very liberating and actually fun playing all those different games at once (30 in total)
I went from 84.09% to 68.14% a fall of 15.95%. Pretty impressive I thought.
Thanks to The Chuck Chuck for coming up with the term 'Bean Dive'.
I hope more people give it a whirl. |

Oh god! If I do that my completion % will probably go down 40%, leaving me at a lousy 10%!!!!
P.S. I have 45 retail games that I haven't started, and 2 XBLA game.
P.S.S. I'm in baby. Going to start tonight and continue tomorrow. Also, I am not going to be able to get my completion % back up this far by Dec 25 2010. That's just impossible. |

No way. Well I got a few for Fallout 3 I started while I was without the internet. that's only at 25%. I'm finally making progress in my long grind/ difficult games and don't want to drop my % yet.
I'm always thinking 'Can't start this game till I beat a few I already started' |

| I have 26 unplayed retails and another 3 arcade games. Recently got my completion ratio up a bit amd i'm in two minds as to whether to do this or not. If i get bullied enough i will :P |

I have about 70-80 unplayed retail games and about 7 XBLA.
If I go bean diving my completion will be like 20%, if not less. LOL, damn! |
