Bejeweled 2 - I just went through puzzle mode, you can spam the hint button for all but 1 of the puzzles, and there's a guide for that. It's a bit time consuming though.
Geometry Wars - I popped the "don't shoot for 60 seconds" cheeve on that one, took a few goes though but it's not hideously difficult.
Hardwood Backgammon - really? I managed to pop 3 in my first game.
Undertow - There's an easy cheeve for getting 100 kills, pops up pretty quickly.
Outpost Kaloki X - I thought this would take longer than it did, but you only need to pass level 4 I think to pop a cheeve.
Portal: Still Alive - you should be able to get The Camera Adds 10 Pounds or A Feeling Like Floating without it taking too long. |

I can't seem to find any info on it.Unfortunately, you can't retroactively enable those stats. For next year, you can go to the Leaderboard for Completion Percentage (Statistics --> Site SLeaderboards) and then press the "Track my Position"-button. That'll do it!
spookyhurst said:My dive in officially over with 96 of 104 games dived. The remaining games are either too hard for my meager abilities (Aegis Wing, Bejeweled 2, Geometry Wars, Hardwood Backgammon, Undertow) or will take too much of a time commitment to unlock the first achievement (Portal: Still Alive, Outpost Kaloki X, Tomb Raider Anniversary). I ended with a completion drop of -30.38%.I recently dived Portal: Still Alive by getting the
achievement. Use the second guide: It uses the very first Test Chamber, and it's definitely doable! Impressive drop already though |

Thanks for the tips everyone! You inspired me to keep going, so Bejeweled 2, Portal, & Undertow are now dived. Might as well try to get the other 5 now . |

I moved to a new apartment a week ago, and the ongoing craziness has put a serious dent in my bean dive progress. I'm still not finished with it yet
Hopefully before the end of the month... |

Okay, I really am done with my Bean Dive now. I started all 104 games (plus the Mars Rover game that wasn't on my list). This was a lot of fun! I'm glad I participated . Final completion drop is -30.80%. Now I need to join DERP. Check out my glorious row of green checkmarks at http://www.trueachievements.com/eventgamesconfirmation.aspx?... |

| Alright, I believe I am also finished. I added 149 games played (119 on my list and another 30 bought after the start). Percentage went from 35.55 to 27.81 which is a mere 7.74% drop. Puts me at 1391 to get in the next 343 days. |

So far, I've finished four games that were on my list (out of 13). I Am Alive, Blade Kitten, Assassin's Creed 2, and Nier have fallen so far. Final Fantasy 13, Resonance of Fate, Magnacarta 2, Blue Dragon, Fallout: New Vegas, Burgertime World Tour, Enchanted Arms, Mass Effect, and Record of Agarest War Zero remain. Though I should finish Mortal Kombat, Record of Agarest War, and Idolm@ster first.
Just curious, but how in the world are people getting 400 games (or really any triple digit number) to start? Are you guys renting them or buying a lot of Windows Phone games or what? That number seems a bit outrageous to me (not saying people aren't doing it, but I'm wondering how they are doing it)? |

| Rhyolitic, I hadn't done a Bean Dive before, so my collection has been building for a few years. I had over 100 unplayed games due too freebies (Kinect Fun Labs, Aegis Wing, etc.), Gamefly nightly sales (I've gotten a lot of awesome games for about $10 a piece), Best Buy daily deals (I've picked up a lot of games for just $5 a piece), trading with other gamers at Goozex, and XBLA deals of the week. Despite being cheap, I manage to amass quite a lot of games! |

Derp derp derp splash!NNNNNOOOOOO!!!! Don't start Facebreaker, it has unobtainable achievements. But I guess that's my own personal preference. I have a few uncompletable games on my card due to server shutdowns and I don't like to start games with unobtainable achievements. |

I have a few uncompletable games on my card due to server shutdowns and I don't like to start games with unobtainable achievements.I'd considered that. I didn't start NFS:Carbon for this reason because it has a permanently bugged achievement that was never obtainable, but I had a secondary reason with that in that I'm not the biggest racing game fan anyway. I'd tossed up whether to start FaceBreaker because of the EA server shutdown, but then went back to my motto: "...to never become so attached to the completion percentage that I would forego playing new games in order to protect it." and just popped it anyway.
Edit:
It's probably been suggested before, but having a separate leaderboard and statistic for completion percentage that excluded achievements that are impossible to get or are discontinued would be cool, in that it would encourage people to play more games instead of not starting them at all in order to protect their percentage. |

I just completed my bean dive yesterday. I know, a bit late, considering I only had a few dozen games to dive. The ugly details are in my most recent blog entry. I actually chopped 6 games from the list (the ones on the XBLA Unplugged disc).
For those who just want the numbers, here they are:
Pre-Bean Dive:
179 games played 2,550 achievements (of a possible 6,204) 41.10% completion
45,840 gamerscore (of a possible 130,605) 68,885 TA score (of a possible 266,300) 1.5027 TA ratio
Site rank: 42,790 (of a total 183,236)
Post-Bean Dive:
219 games played 2,592 achievements (of a possible 7,657) 33.85% completion
46,380 gamerscore (of a possible 162,605) 69,458 TA score (of a possible 324,303) 1.4976 TA ratio
Site rank: 43,785 (of a total 191,088... wow, the site grew pretty fast!)
Going to be setting my goals for completion percentage in the next couple of days. Time for the Bean DERP! |

When GS runs a B2G1 deal, I hit four or five stores looking for anything I don't already have. Though I do not specifically save games for the Dive (I started about 50 games last year outside the Dives), I usually have a large number left over when Dive time comes around.
That's the "how". The "why" is the same as for everybody else here: I'm crazy. |

I Bean Dived 9 games:
Batman: Arkham City Beyond Good & Evil HD BioShock 2 Dead Space 2 L.A. Noire Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light Mass Effect 3 The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
I had an 80.72 Completion Percentage and it dropped to 71.72% after I got one achievement for all of them.
The first game I started was Dead Space 2. I already finished the game once on Casual and completed the DLC for a total of 55/58 achievements. All I have left are the Hardcore and Zealot difficulties plus a combat achievement that you can't get on a first playthrough (need New Game +). I will be starting my Hardcore run pretty soon (ay ya yay!).
The other game I played a little has been BioShock 2 and it has been just for the multiplayer achievements. I've gotten most of them and I'm basically concentrating on getting to the maximum rank. After I'm done with them I will play the single player at a later time.
After I'm done with Dead Space 2, I'm planning on starting Batman: Arkham City. Can't wait for that one. |

Since this was my first Bean Dive, I've kept a pretty close eye on my statistics. I posted a blog updated my stats at the one month interval. I'm happy with the numbers so far, but don't see them rising as quickly in the future as I start to get into the RPG's I dove. I've only played 85 games, so my numbers will rise or drop quicker than those of you with hundereds of games on your tag.
The Post Dive Stats are: Completion %: 51.19% (-10.19%) Achievements: 1598 (+15) / 3122 (+543) Gamer Score: 30940 (+190) / 66335 (+11500) TA Score: 43561 (+196) / 117690 (+19415)
My 1 Month Stats are: Completion %: 53.94% (+2.75%) Achievements: 1684 (+86) / 3122 (+0) Gamer Score: 32360 (+1420) / 66335 (+0) TA Score: 45589(+2028) / 117414 (-276) |
