Standardized Score Leaderboards

So since we already have leaderboards for TA score and gamerscore, why not add the option to view them by standardized score as well? For individual genres, countries, user leaderboards and overall, just as with any other leaderboard type. Judging by the ratio thread a while back, it seems a lot of people like this way of calculating score, and I certainly think it'd be interesting. toast

If you're not familiar with it, standardized score is the score you would have if all your achievements were worth 10G each, while still maintaining their regular ratios. You can see it at the bottom of your main stats page.

You can see it at the bottom of your main stats page.In my opinion the standardized score is the "purest" statistic on the site. This site was conceived around the observation that gamer-score values of achievements are haphazardly (perhaps unfairly) assigned; while the ratios are excellent, the True Achievement score is still based around the original gamer-score allocation and therefore still suffers from the same fundamental inaccuracy. By treating each achievement as equal, worth an identical gamer-score, prior to applying the ratio multiplier it strips a lot of extraneous noise from the data and leaves us with more "signal". I've always thought it a shame that it was simply a footnote on a stats page and not featured more prominently.

    Basically, +1 wink
