Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!
There's much kicking and punching fresh from Marvel vs. Capom 3: Fate of Two Worlds available on the internet tubes. That's quite a title, I may have to pull a Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light and shorten it to 'MVC3FOTW' though that's still a beast of an acronym.
Anyway, the latest gameplay trailers show a 3 vs. 3 spectacle taking place with some famous faces involved in the fracas. Ironman features in the first video (and get's his ass handed to him as well I might add), but see if you can name them all.
The videos are hastily tagged with a memo informing us that we shouldn't expect them to be entirely indicative of the final product seeing as it won't be on general release until 2011. However, when it is available in stores worldwide, we can expect the following goodies (as a quick recap):
• Innovative graphics and gameplay bring the Marvel and Capcom Universes to life: Powered by an advanced version of MT Framework, the engine used in Resident Evil 5 and Lost Planet 2, Marvel vs. Capcom 3 brings beautiful backgrounds and character animations to the forefront.
- Evolved VS. Fighting System: Wild over-the-top gameplay complete with signature aerial combos, hyper combos and other original systems. The evolved new battle system, the “Team Aerial Combo,” takes the exciting mind-reading game to a whole new level!
- 3-on-3 Tag Team Fighting: Players build their own perfect team by assigning unique “Assist Attacks” for each character and utilize each character’s special moves to create their own unique fighting style.

Viewtiful Joe will make his debut in the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise. I always get excited when I see Marvel in the title and then realise its not Ultimate Alliance 3, it's street-fighter + spiderman 3.

:(I hope they do make an Ultimate Alliance 3 but the chances of that might be slim due to the Disney buyout/Activision fucknuttery. |

| ps 2 ,3,4,5 characters maybe missing my best bet is theres only 2 missing from the game have the whole list complete but those few it is chun li,ryu,dante,trish,morrigan,felicia,wolverine,hulk,iron man,captian america,thor,doom,super skrull,dormammu,deadpool,amaterasu,viewtiful joe,and chris as of right now waitin ona couple others to appear. |
The main thing here for almost the whole world is the Beta son!!! |

There's suppose to be well over 30, so I think your math is a bit off.
Great videos. I can't wait to see what DLC will bring to the table. |

| Dr.Doom looked pretty decent. Dante had cool moves but it didn't seem like he was overly powerful as such. |

I love the Vs series of games but I am already apprehensive about this one.Capcom is already talking about DLC characters and minimal online features.Plus there are rumors about them possibly selling us the nice features that were free in SF4 & SSF4 like replay mode,training,etc.It seems Capcom is may stay true to their marketing strategy of nickel and diming us to death for stuff that is already on the disc (SF4&SSF4 coustmes & RE5 multiplayer versus modes).

There's no way that they can't include training mode in the retail release. There's just no way. It's a staple to all fighting games. |
