Indiana Jones ain't the only one with a whip
Reviews have been coming in on the Castlevania reboot titled Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. A declaration that Konami's impending release is an excellent purchase.
In celebration of the game's release, which launches on Tuesday and Friday (North America and Europe, respectively), there shall be a demo for you to whet your appetite on some vampire slaying, whip cracking action.
You can queue up the 2GB demo by clicking the external link.
Not sure? Need some convincing? How about a nice trailer?

Got the demo just to make sure my intended purchase tomorrow would be worthwhile.
It only made me want it THAT much more. Finally some justice done to Castlevania instead of the repetitive 2D things that all the "true fans" keep asking for. |

| I didn't see this I can't wait to download it. This is one of my top games for the year. And Joe I would have to say this is just as much a Castlevania as any title you consider "Real castlevania". I know the 3-D games haven't been to great but this one is shaping up to actually be enjoyable. |

| Everything about the demo was awesome, except for the camera. The inability to control the camera alone is the reason I'm not buying this. I might Gamefly it for achievements though. |

Goddamn I wanted this to be good. I was hoping that they'd have solved some of the issues from the E3 showing with this and that this would be some serious badassery. But this really just seems like a Dante's Inferno clone, giving it the whole clone of a clone feel to it. Plus what I've heard about the gameplay not really getting any more interesting and the story being kind of bland means that this game is going to have to be a rental.
I do have a request though - once people start buying it, review it! I need opinions on this one. |
