| i could be wrong, but i remember getting about 1000 per game off of it, but maybe that's because i'm nearly gold in all of my commendations. |

| The main reason you get less credits for each action is because as the commendations level up, you get less cr per action for said commendation, and once it hits silver, it gives you no cr; only the ones you get for leveling the commendation up. I now get almost no cr for doing the ONI swordbase checkpoint because my Splash damage/walking tank commendations are both onyx. |

To clarify Bungie never decreased the amount of cR that you get in campaign. The way the system works, is most of your cR comes from medals and commendations. However, once you get a certain commendation to silver, then the individual medals for said commendation no longer give you cR (for some medals you still get a fraction).
For example, say I get 4cR for each headshot medal I get. Now once I grind the headshot commendation to silver, I will no longer get 4cR for each headshot medal. I will still receive a cR bonus once the headshot commendation reaches gold/onyx, but I'll just get nothing in between.
There are numerous techniques for exploiting the campaign medals/commendations, however they are only beneficial for so long, as you get progressively less and less cR as you complete commendations.
Also worth mentioning, is that this trend is campaign only. In Matchmaking and Firefight, you will always get the same amount of cR, regardless of what commendations you have complete.
EDIT: Oops. Seems like Downfall already explained it. Didn't realize there was a 2nd page of posts already. |
So I don't have a colon. Wanna fight about it? |

| There is no real fast way to get cr once you hit silver with commendations, so I reccomend playing online and actually having fun; it's a great game. |

For me the best way is Sniper Attack on Courtyard, if I'm inches off ranking up or just that lil bit out of pocket for a new piece of armour I'll resort to that, easy 1700+ a match, head shots and multi-kills galore
Definitely better than Gruntpocalypse, well it is to me anyway. |

Cr output does NOT link to difficulty (except for there being more enemies)
Each "action" (headshot, pull medal, small weapons kill) will net a set amount of credits, but once you obtain the commendation for them you will obtain less credits per action.
All in all, variety is your best bet, if you play gruntpocalypse for your entire reach career by the end of it you will probably net a bit more from completing the campaign. |

With the new updated playlists and with firefight arcade being a staple, that's where the bulk of my credit farming comes from. I net around 3000 to 5000 per game. You earn more credits the farther you rank up, so I might be netting a little more cause of my rank. You especially can't go wrong with overshields and 3 sets (15 rounds) plus a bonus round in 15 min. |

Daily Challenges are key. Play SWAT to get most of the multiplayer challenges and the games are fairly quick. If the Weekly challenge consists of a LASO task. Just search Youtube for a relevant video to help you. I was stuck with Downfall as the challenge, but with the help of Youtube I did the challenge in 5 minutes and got 12000XP. Firefight Arcade is a really good mode to play for XP. If you do well you can average 2000-3000 and then any challenges and commendations on top help it shoot up some more. The worst part of the ranks is from Warrant Officer Grade 3 to Captain. For some reason this is a 60,000 gap where all the others are considerably lower. |

Firefight solo: 2x Score Attack, Firefight MP: Firefight Arcade. MP: Premium Battle, Team Swat.
I recommend these. Also check your commendations, gold and onyx are worth 2-3k cR so if you only need a few more kills or whatever just go for it throughout the next games. Daily and Weekly challenges of course for some quick cR boosts. |
