Help Pigsy build his dream woman
Namco Bandai released details about upcoming DLC for it's apocolyptic, acrobatic adventure, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West.
"Pigsy's Perfect 10" is a side story starring, you guessed it, Pigsy, the bloated ally of Monkey and Trip. Pigsy is lonely, and dreams one day of building the perfect woman. He then sets out to create this perfect woman out of scrap metal found around the junkyard.

Pigsy has an entirely different playstyle than Monkey. While Monkey is strong, acrobatic, and brave, Pigsy is more cowardly, relying on stealth and sharpshooting in order to bring down his foes. He has plenty of gadgets as well, such as a hookshot, a sniper rifle, grenades, and his mechanical companion Truffles.

In addition to the new content, the DLC will deliver an update, allowing both the core game and the side story to be played in 3D.
"Pigsy's Perfect 10" will hit the Marketplace later this year for 800 MSP. |

| this is bs. the game has been our for like what 2 weeks now? I hate how they do this with dlc now, at least give the impression its an expansion and not just stuff they didnt put in the game |

| Ha! I've only completed the first two levels! Best get playing some more of this and try and finish it. Doubt i'll pick the DLC up until its on DOTW though, as i've far too much to play at the mo and loads of other games coming out that i wanna get too! |

Is it an actual expansion or a piece of the game left out on purpose? That question is what I ask myself for every DLC. I sometimes cave in, though. |

Screw it, the DLC for both Enslaved & Castlevania can wait a few months.
I am selling both these games tomorrow morning to help me purchase Deadly Premonition and Smackdown vs Raw 11.
I'm not risking having these games lose anymore value in the trade market, i waited until Mafia 2's first batch of DLC came out and when i sold it 2 days after the DLC came out the trade value for the game had gone down further.
I now have far too many games in my collection that are now worth nothing thanks to DLC (Read Dead Redemption, Alan Wake and Crackdown 2 but to name a few)
I don't mind DLC all that much, but theres too many single player games now that have DLC, so your just sat there scratching your balls waiting for the DLC so you can finally get rid of it. |

| They haven't even announced the date yet, so I think it's unfair to say yet whether this "should have been on the disc" or not. I agree if it was being released today it would be a bit sketchy. |

Simple enough decision for me, I love this game but whether or not I get this game will depend on this DLC is based on whether or not it has achievements linked to it, and if there is, I will simply wait until the DLC is a Deal of the Week.
Sorry, but announcing DLC this soon after the game (with screenshots I might add) means they knew they would release this DLC regardless of how well the game sold, and if it was in their mindset before release, it should have been included on the disk. |

| Really looking forward to getting the game, but haven't gotten around to it quite yet. I like Ninja Theory, so I imagine I'll like the game and eventually get the DLC too. |

Switching it up with Pigsy is sort of interesting, but gotta admit I'm kinda disappointed Monkey isn't returning. Hopefully it does well enough warrant another. |

I sometimes cave in, though.I know a lot of people like to post and not really think too much about this issues but let me pose a question to you: If you have a game that is a full story, from beginning to end, with nothing missing in between then it's a complete game. If the developers then announce something that's a side story, having absolutely nothing to do with the main game or the main protagonists of the main game, then it's side stuff.
There realistically should be nothing wrong with side stuff as DLC even if it comes out rather close to a games release as long as its not already on the disc. We haven't been "cheated" out of anything with stuff like this. It'd be like complaining that Lost in Nightmares or Desperate Escape should have come with Resident Evil 5.
That said, I didn't really care for PIggsy but this is still a day 1 purchase. |
