I finished the 1st level on Hard it was a 7/10 on the scale of difficulty. I was wondering if the game keeps on the same level or gets harder?

If its like any normal game it will definitely get harder at the later levels.

And if its not hard enough then there is always the God Hard mode which comes after ;D (but its not linked to achievements as far as i know).

So is the game as good as it looks?

I almost bought it the other night but saw a bargain on Fallout 3 so got it instead.

Its a "good-fun-hard" but its pretty hard. i love this game!

I have been playing on hard. I would say it has been a bit like Bayonetta for me, it starts quite hard but once you get past the learning curve it gets a bit easier. Hard can still be a bit of a pain at certain times though, especially since some enemies have one hit kills. I do want to try out the top difficulty at some point to see how much harder it gets :P
