What is the best way to rank down in Halo 3?
Is simply quitting out of matches enough?

I'm trying to rank down to get my lone wolf cheevos. I'm a level 42 and everyone else is always well below the 30's, or even the 20's.

| The best solution is go into Lone Wolves (and if you don't care about your k/d) leave your tv and go do something else. By consistenting losing you'll "derank" or level down, this is how boosters work for team gametypes such as MLG, Team Slayer, SWAT, Snipers etc for Halo 3. By losing a lot your rank will go down, and sooner or later you'll be low enough to match with kids who want to boost. Quitting out a lot will only result in a ban. |
