| I know the timelines have changed on mutations since their release when it was every week. Just wondered if anyone could fill me in on mutation duration and what day it changes? |

So apparently the original mutations are back this week.
I've just started playing the game and wondered if anyone could give me all/any info I could need. What events can help with other achievements? Does it change weekly again now? Is there only 6 variations?
All help welcome, Cheers. |

| last time I checked the L4D forums (www.l4d.com) It had stated that mutations would be rotated every 2 weeks or so. That had started a few months back I think. I'll look into it. |

The mutations change every two weeks on a Friday; if you are on GMT like me, it's around 9pm, but sometimes earlier and later.
Apparently they've been having problems with the latest mutations counting towards the achievement because they were community-made mutations; they have changed it so that the basic mutations are on now. This probably means for the next 12 weeks, the mutations available will count towards the achievement.
Also, playing the game mode Realism Versus counts as one towards the achievement because it is a mutation that got made permanent. However, if you have already played this mutation, you won't get one more towards the count.
Since this fortnight's mutation is Bleed Out, if you have already played this it won't count again so you won't get another count towards the achievement if you have already played this. If you haven't played this before, it will still count. |

I haven't played anything, I guess I better hurry up and download the passing and play bleed out before next friday, (I'll do it this week to be safe).

| And to clarify, if you dont have time to actually play, all you need to do is jump into a mutation in progress and then leave the game. But obviously it's more fun to play lol |

Follow the litre up this fortnight.
Shame they can't make it weekly again. This is the last achievement I need... |

| just started a new thread for updating the current mutations, like retro gamers Halo reach challenge updates. Just that I'm only about 2 years late lol I'm really hoping they do the gib fest or last man on earth one more time so I can finish off the expert stuff.. |
