Career Mode featured in 'Full Seasons' video
After the bad news yesterday regarding several Activision-related franchises, it's time for some more upbeat news. Nascar The Game 2011 has survived the cuts and layoffs. Furthermore, Activision and Eutechnyx have released another Developer Diary for the racing title.

The latest video delves into aspects of the game's Career Mode. The Career Mode features all of the official Sprint Cup tracks and 43 real-life drivers.
Gamers will also have the option to create a custom driver, car and team, then they can work to make that new team a success by attracting and impressing sponsors.
Although the features of the Career Mode are emphasised in the 'Full Seasons' Developer Diary, the development team has stressed that the game has a Quick Race Mode for those instances when players simply want to battle with 43 other drivers in a single event.
Nascar The Game 2011 is now set for release on March 29th, following a development delay. |

If you compare it to Forza, then it will be a fail. If you judge this for what it should be (a NASCAR racing style game) then it might be good. Comparing every racing game with Forza is a recipe for disaster. |

Personally i like NASCAR and im from the UK and if its not going to be released over here then i'll have to get it on import for the PS3 seeing as the majority of US games are locked on the Xbox 360. |

| Nice to see NASCAR coming back to consoles, always enjoyed the previous iterations, not the most difficult racing but always fun to play, especially with friends that realize that "rubbin is racin'" I will probably rent it though, since the date that it is releasing seems to be a bit filled with other games if memory serves me correctly. |

I so can't wait for this, but luckily, the 500 is just ten days away, and the Shootout's this weekend, so I'll have some NASCAR on TV to tide me over 'til this game comes out end of next month, but I still gotta pre-order, I'll have that done this week!  |

I hope it's sufficiently destructive... :DDude, NASCAR was never like that, in fact, it's one of the most sophisticated motorsports in the world today, more celebrities attend NASCAR races than F1, CART, ASA, ARCA, World Of Outlaws, BriSCA, AMA, Rolex 24 Series, or any other racing series out there. |

Alright I never apologize for anything I say because I stand by my opinions. A lot of you live in the UK and you see it as a professional sport over there, and it is. But here in the states NASCAR is kinda put into a redneck stereotype.
N=Non, A= Athletic S=Sport - C=Centered A=Around R=Rednecks.
I will watch NASCAR. I have played a few on the games on the N64. And if I can compete in 500 miles of online racing for 4 hours at a time I am in. |

Really not much of a redneck sport anymore, way too expensive for that demographic.
Look at the drivers that are coming up through the ranks, for every Dale Jr(idiot redneck, imo), there is a Juan Pablo or a Ryan Newman or these young kids coming into racing are anything but rednecks. |

Ahhh, might be pretty good, if it gets a major release here in the UK, not slipping under the radar...Presumably the game crashes should you ever try to turn right. |
