A puzzling take on a classic franchise
It seems that puzzle games are the genre of choice for Windows Phone 7. This week brings us a genre-bending entry into the Castlevania franchise.

Konami brings you a truly innovative Puzzle-RPG system, an exciting first for the Castlevania series! Play as and against characters from Symphony of the night. Over 20 hours of gameplay in Story Mode. Dozens of unique enemies to fight and over one hundred items to collect. |

| Love puzzle games, work the brain and all. Just short of a Windows 7 Phone and think the pricing is a little high. |

| I would buy this in a heartbeat if it were on the XBLA arcade, it sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I don't have a windows phone. |

| Agree, it is overpriced. I bet, if it is received well, it will come to xbla later. Probably gonna buy this, when reviews are up and it is considered good. Sounds good at least. |

| This game has been out on iPhone for a while. I remember being disappointed, and I'd wished it was on a format I had any intention of getting some day. This and, of course, it would be better with (real) achievements. Now we have both, and this further entices me to pick up a WP7 at some point! They are putting out WP7 ports of some of my most-wanted iPhone games, another example being Fruit Ninja. I'm hoping this trend continues, personally. |

Wow, that's a pretty uninspired achievement list.
4 achievements for killing X enemies 4 achievements for map completion 7 achievements for collecting the 26 cards 1 achievement for collecting armor
That said, I would probably still be happy if I ever saw it on XBLA. |

I want a new Assassins Creed type, or Twin Blades...... Only better hopefully |

| Will probably skip this. Just got a windows phone this week. The only game I have downloaded so far is bejeweled. I have the day off tomorrow so will get a better chance to play some demos and stuff. Any must haves? |

Reasons it's more expensive on WP7: wildly reduced market share; inclusion of achievements.
If Microsoft start including 200GS with 59p games that's the already shakey system fucked. And is £5.49 really that expensive?
As it stands I'm not paticularly enamored with the title because it feels a little rough round the edges and it seems a less than perfect port. However, if I liked the game, given its Live support and Micosoft's reduced smartphone market penetration, I don't believe that £5.49 is an unreasonable price. |

| I was wondering if this was a new XBLA when I saw it added to the site yesterday and why I hadn't heard of it, but if it's a WP7 release then it makes sense I hadn't heard of it. |

I've played the demo now. The gameplay is pretty much the same as Super Puzzle Fighter. If you liked that, you'll probably like this. Its a bit fiddly on a small phone screen (I'm using a HTC HD7 which has the biggest screen, and it was still fiddly). I've bought most of the WP7 games so far, but I'm probably gonna give this one a miss... |
