Hey boys and gals,

I've spent almost a week playing Torchlight for XBLA and thoroughly enjoying it.

I finally got around to publishing the review, so i thought I'd put up the link:

http://wolfsgamingblog.com/2011/03/05/torchlight-review/

And for those that can't be arsed reading much (so that's you all then?)

"Torchlight is the ultimate dungeon crawler for Xbox 360, and a perfect for Xbox Live Arcade. In its genre it stands out as a superb example of how to do it, and no game since Diablo itself has captured the loot system so well, but outside of its hardcore genre following Torchlight is a repetitve game for most other people."

8/10

I'm really looking forward to this game. I'm totally down with the Diabloesque dungeon looting games. The only thing that turned me off is "The actual singleplayer missions will take around 6-8 hours.". I would have hoped for a longer experience. Is this only if you zip right through the game?

A few additional questions:
-Are there item sets and how obtainable are they?
-Are there a lot of sidequests or just straight storyline dungeons?
-Do the enemies scale to your level?
-Does the loot scale to your level?

6-8 hours if if you take a decent pace through the main story missions.

There are set items, but when they appear is hard to predict.

There are some side-quests, though not heaps.

Every time you enter a new dungeon the enemies scale up. At this point I'm actually beginning to encounter enemies a few levels above my own.

Loot scales with the dungeon.
