I had a perfect nightmare on a starry torrid sea...
Indie developer Ska Studios (brainchild of James "I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1NIT!!!1" Silva) have confirmed the release date for their upcoming XBLA sequel The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile, scheduled to hit the Marketplace on April 6th.

The follow-up to 2009's The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai will cost the same as its predecessor, priced at 800 MSP.
“The Dishwasher: Vampire Smile” is set to take the series’ stylistic action, deep game play and unique visual style and kicks it up a few blood soaked notches. Play as The Dishwasher or his sister Yuki, go solo or connect with a friend over Xbox LIVE and slice your way through 13 campaign levels or climb the leaderboards in 50 arcade challenges. With nearly a dozen insane weapons including the giant Painkiller syringe, an all-new gruesome game engine and full stereoscopic 3D support, this is the Dishwasher sequel fans been yearning for.For any of you lucky folk attending PAX East this weekend, the full version of Vampire Smile will be playable on the show floor, including the campaign, arcade and co-op modes. Ska Studios will also be handing out free swag at their booth and holding hourly raffles to give away pre-releases codes for the game weeks before its release.
Embedded below is the announcement trailer for the game, in case anyone missed it when the game was first announced over a year ago:

Achievements are nothing, we get it. But thats not gonna make us stop getting them. |

| As you can tell by my Gamerpic I'm a huge Dishwasher fan. Can't wait for this one and I'll pick it up day one, just like I did when Dead Samurai came out. |

| Had the chance to play some of this at PAX Prime last fall, never played the first Dishwasher but Vampire Smiles was extremely fun, especially the two player. So looking forward to picking this up. |
