Region specific, time sensitive achievements
Microsoft has billed Full House Poker as the prime-time gaming replacement for 1 vs 100. They are backing up this statement with the free "Full House Poker: Texas Heat, Spring 2011 Season" DLC add-on. In a similar style to the 30 minute quiz sessions offered previously by 1 vs. 100, the DLC will allow players to take part in regular, prime-time, Texas Heat sessions.
It's time for the inaugural Spring 2011 season of Texas Heat! Texas Heat is a regularly scheduled, fast-paced poker game that brings thousands of players together at the same time. You’ve got thirty minutes to bluff, bet, and raise your way to the top table in this unique, new poker game show! Unfortunately, this content is only available in Canada, US, UK, Ireland and Germany. Click here for a download link for these regions.
The DLC adds a further three achievements worth a total of 50G. These three achievements will be time sensitive, and players will not be able to unlock them once the Spring 2011 season is over. The original 20 achievements that came with the game do not appear to be time sensitive. |

| Bit stupid that these are so specific. Game's really good fun though, apart from the dull 1v1 at the end of games. Always stop playing when it's down to the last two IRL. |

With support this could be worth buying for play with friends.
Will check out ach. first - I refused to get teh one in 1 vs 100 for getting mutliple quick wrong answers. That's not an ach. that's just poor play. |

I do like the new direction that XBL is going with avatar games, can't wait for the kinect update with facial tracking, as i talk and emote my avatar will, that's just so cool. |

If this game ever ends up on the Deal of the Week in the future, people are going to look at it and say "oh, I can't get all the achievements? I'll pass then." I'm avoiding it because I just straight suck at poker, which is bad since I live 2 hours away from Atlantic City. |

But after that a good portion of people won't dare touch it because of the unobtainables. |

If people get it and play it non stop (because quite frankly, anything is better than CoD lol) then the cheebles will be yours... if you dont buy it, then no cheebles for you... you dont play it enough, no cheebles for you...

| Lame. I don't see why there are so many poker video games out there, as they all seem the same or too similar to me. And how are you supposed to bluff people online anyway? I bought Texas Hold 'Em and I'll stick to that one... |

I'm told it's only available in countries where Windows Phone 7 is officially supported. Sorry!
Can't download this because Microsoft thinks only about Money, Money, Money and not releasing WP7 in my country. |

i just downloaded demo.. and now im going to delete it without even bothering to try it.. time sensetive achievements SUCK!!
give me the option to delete it off my GT and i'll get it.. oh and while your at it i'll have 1vs100 deleted aswell please.. |
