Hi guys,

Strange request but here it goes!

Every morning I cycle in my flat while playing on the Xbox, however, I find that playing shooters game is quite challenging to do while cycling.

Anyone know any slow paced game where time is not so much an issue, where you have time to reflect on things in the likes of:

Hexic, Civilization Revolution, PB Winterbottom etc...

Thanks!

You might like the Scene It! games. They are all about movies and take some focus, but they could be fun while you exercise. Brain should be more active anyhow. Carcassone and Catan may be good for you as well, both arcade games.

Thanks! I'm going to give Carcassone and Catan a go! (Catan is going very cheap on ebay) I think Scene It isn't really my kind of game!

Any further suggestions more than welcomed!

Uno is simple enough to do as well if you don't already have it.

Puzzle Quest or Kingdom for Keflings. Worms/Worms 2 are probably playable under those conditions as well.

Haven't played it myself but Civilization Revolution sounds like a good bet.

Oblivion (one of the best games on the xbox) I think can be done while exercising, plus it will take ages you will be fit as a fiddle. :-)

Operation Darkness. It's turn based - not the greatest game but slow paced
TC's Endwar. Bloody slow game but challenging.
Yu-Gi-Oh / Magic The Gathering - turn based CCG games.
Hexic HD - puzzle game
Deathspank/Deathspank Thongs of Virtue - adventure game but combat is usually dictated by your pacing not the game's.
Axel & Pixel - mediocre point and click game
Limbo - great game, fairly slow paced until some of the stuff at the very end (though you control when you start the small reaction based sections)
Bully - interesting game with a GTA feel just a much smaller setting.
Greed Corp - turn based strategy game
Risk: Factions - turn based strategy game
Voodoo Dice - sort of... half the achievements are slow paced the other half are not
Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection - not so much slow paced as easy. Most achievements are done in the first 3 chapters of a given game - then once the achievements are done you've got a bunch of great classic games to play
Lost Odyssey - Great RPG
Life, it's funny that way.

Good one, Texas Hold'em Poker would be fantastic to play while cycling, especially since you can go for
Texas Hold'em Luck of the Draw The Luck of the Draw achievement in Texas Hold'em worth 69 pointsGet one of every type of hand from High Card to Royal Flush.

Bejewelled 2 definately.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 2.

and Vanquish!

(No, I'm kidding about Vanquish... except if you got of your bike and sat on the couch and played Vanquish you'd probably sweat as much as if you were still cycling).

Sure, it's time consuming, hair-pulling frustrating at points in the gifting, and is ideally done with a spreadsheet to keep track of what you've gifted and to whom, but it is fairly slow paced. Especially if you hit the casino at night and just gamble a lot. You can sit down, get a few suits gifted or some volleyball matches won, and still make progress.

To the OP, I'd say Record of Agarest War. It's a turn-based, strategy role-playing game. Time only advances when you start up a new combat spot and you can think through on what you want to do
