These GFWL titles get a severe price slash

Steam is having a sale this weekend on a couple of Batman related titles and DLC with some very eye-catching price cuts. Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY (PC) and http://www.trueachievements.com/BatmanArkham-City-PC-xb....htm are both on offer at a cheaper price than normal and with these titles being Live-enabled, you know exactly what that means -- achievements are included! Both games can be purchased in a bundle pack or bought separately; some of the DLC related to Batman: Arkham City is also on offer at a cheaper price. Here's the full rundown on the discounts:

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY (PC) - £9.99/$19.99 £3.40 / $6.80

http://www.trueachievements.com/BatmanArkham-City-PC-xb....htm - £19.99/$29.99 £9.99 / $14.99
• Batman Arkham City: Arkham City Skins Pack - £3.49/$4.99 £1.74 / $2.49
• Challenge Map Pack - £1.99/$2.49 - £0.99 / $1.49
Robin Bundle Pack - £4.99/$6.99 £2.49 / $3.49
Nightwing Bundle Pack - £4.99/$6.99 £2.49 / $3.49

The bundle itself includes all of the items already covered. With buying the bundle, you save £1.11/$2.76 on the price it would be purchasing these items separately at their discounted prices.

• Batman Arkham Bundle - £45.44/$71.94 £19.99 / $29.99

The deal will be available through the weekend and ends on Monday, May 7th.

Thank you to those who suggested these sweet deals to us!

This may be a slightly dumb question, but I'm not familiar with GFWL or Steam very much. I assume buying these on Steam will let you play through GFWL as well and you can still get achievements?

Correct. As long as you get a GFWL enabled game (even through Steam), you can unlock achievements.

I bought the game on sale via Gamestop Impulse awhile ago. I guess i will grab the DLC thru STEAM and hope it works.

Can't think of a reason why it wouldn't...

Thanks for the news! :)

And while the EXP boosts say they only last for an hour when redeemed on GFWL they're actually permanent.

I bought the permanent solo boost for $2 when it was on sale.

Makes things even easier.
