For those experiencing the crash on Windows / Windows Phone, there is a way to work around the issue but it requires an external tool - Fiddler.
Download Fiddler from here:
https://www.telerik.com/download/fiddlerFiddler is a web debugging tool that allows you to monitor and manipulate web traffic on your computer. In this instance, we're going to RESET the call to download messages from your Inbox in-game, which causes the crash.
Follow the steps here to allow traffic from Windows Metro / UWP applications:
http://docs.telerik.com/fiddler/Configure-Fiddler/Tasks/Conf...In the Loopback Exemption Utility, select Kingdoms & Lords.
Now we need to add a rule to handle the Inbox messages. Likely, you have traffic showing up on the left. Just click one of the lines on the left, and then click on the AutoResponder tab on the right window. Click "Add Rule", and it will add a rule based on the item you selected on the left. This is fine, as we're going to update it. Click on the rule you just added in the right window, and the text for it will show up at the bottom. Change the text to the following:
First Line:
https://bob-hermes.gameloft.com/messages/inbox/meSecond Line: *reset
Click Save to save the change. Now, boot up the game and play as normal, and the crash will disappear!
This looks like it could work for Windows 10 Mobile as well to resolve the crash on phone, but it requires more investigation. If someone gets to it before I do, check the following link:
