If you like a challenge, play 2033 on a harder difficulty, although I found Easy to be challenging enough. There's a trick for the other difficulties.

I downloaded the NCAA 13 early release last year. 7GB. I know I was in WY, but know how long it took? 30 hours. It was a 3-day early release. 30 friggin hours.
So the time that the period begins is important, especially if the assumption is that you can play during download.
The cloud won't work for everyone. The infrastructure can't handle it for everyone. I've been screaming into the abyss about this.

My reading the the major nelson posts is that you can only INSTALL to one xbox. Any others will need the disc to start.
I thought it said you could install it to as many as you want, but you'll need to buy a new key for any but the original installation.
They have basically gone down the PC gaming route, so the game code will be assigned to your profile. Can see why EA ditched online passes now..

Essentially discs will become XBLA games. It's the old PC one-time-code deal. Oh yeah, and they can revoke your license at any time.

Also, if someone borrows your game, they have the option to install it and pay for it. If not they will have limited access, basically a time-limited demo.

I don't see the issue. Ranger was DLC in the original, and you can still get the DLC with retail purchases.
Also...EA *is* that shitty. The preorder BF3 shipped with DLC that was removed, and then made us pay for it later.
Return to Karkand and the original Metro charged more, too. This one is only 400. BF3 was 1200.
No one had an issue with BF3 doing it. I don't see why they have an issue with Metro offering the preorder for 400, when you can still get it in new copies.
EA never claimed BTK was "The way our game is meant to be played". Making a difficulty setting dlc is the lowest anyone has gone yet IMO.
As for original, are you certain? I got it through steam but it wasn't dlc there.
Any publisher will say "this is how it's MEANT to be played" as a marketing gimmick. But yes, Ranger mode was DLC. It's only 240 now, but I think it was higher before.

Re-telling of hearts of darkness. I found it really dragged in the middle. But it's worth sticking with for the story.
I think in part the well-executed but tedious nature of some of the levels are what makes it such a succesful critique of the genre.

It seems like in WaW you get bombarded by about ten at once, but in COD 4 it happens more often but on a smaller magnitude.

A) I think you HAVE to headshot zombies to kill them. I'd look for heavy gunners and heavy flamers if possible. B) Playing through again wouldn't be that bad either =D

Loved the Portal franchise as well. :) I don't know if there will ever be a Portal 3 but I would certainly buy it on day 1 just like the second game.

Never seen Venture Bros. Played both Sam & Max games. Even though they're expensive, there's a LOT of game for those 200 GS each.
(And by that I mean you get a lot of bang for your buck, even if there isn't much GS involved.)
You should watch it Sasha. It started out as a spoof of Johnny Quest-type shows, but it really found its own voice. And, iirc, it's traditionally animated as well.
