Right? I wanted games and achievement info.
hard drive space? always on? used games? Kinect required? like thx for wasting an hour of my time
Yeah, I mean all that stuff was cool, but it wasn't anything the gamers wanted to know. Hopefully E3 will provide more answers.
I don't know about Kinect required, but the new Kinect is now a standard piece of the package.
500Gig hdd and Kinect bundled with all systems I thought they said.
Apparently no always on confirmed on twitter.
...awww, c'mon now.... It's got a new Call of Duty. The best one ever
I feel your pain. Ugh. That was incredibly underwhelming. Microsoft is definitely following through with their Living Room Manifest Destiny philosophy they started with
the original Xbox, though. Hopefully E3 will reveal what we really want to know, but considering how much info they withheld I'm worried the news isn't great...
Borderlands 2 (PC) no cheevs but = $13.59
Dead Island GOTY (PC) no cheevs = $4.99
Toy Soldiers (PC) WITH cheevs & DLC = $2.48
I got Tango Down and Toy Soldiers for that price on steam sale. Unfortunately I can't play Toy Soldiers because my PC is too bad lol
Ooooh nice deals! And now the stupid question: How do the achievements work with games like these? Are there Steam games with GFWL achievements as well? Where do I log in
with my gamertag? Sorry for the idiotic nature of my inquiries, I just don't have much experience with Steam and NONE with GFWL.
@Toast - When the games load up before u hit the main menu. the guide usually pops open. u don't need gold to play pc gfwl either...
...theres no "dashboard" for gfwl games... Age of Empires Online is Free to play. (gotta pay to complete) but u could download it thru steam and u can see how login goes.
also... most gfwl games on Steam don't have steam achievements too. just gfwl/xbox cheevs...
Cool. Thanks for the help. I take it I don't need a special GFWL client or anything then? I can just open them through Steam (or just from whatever directory if they're
non-Steam?) and they'll just prompt me to log in to Live when the games load up?
that should be it... if anything at the most... u may have to download the GFWL client... but not sure as I've had it since before they moved the "marketplace" to the web
Omgoddess, that looks like the most disgusting thing I've ever seen!!! hehe
oh thats awesome :D id like to have something like that over here..
I might have to go by the Steak and shake and grab me one of those.
Do you have the PC version aswell?
I have it too
Let's boost that one ;)
only need 4 players to start matches on the pc version too :)
We already got 3 XD
Does anyone with experience with networking tech know if it would be possible to move all of the old games (and games which currently have dead servers!) to a
P2P/Client Side hosted model? A pipe dream that will never come to fruition, but MAN wouldn't that be awesome? Say goodbye to unobtainable multiplayer achievements!
I know exactly what you mean on both counts. Hopefully MS will be smart and continue to support the 360 like Sony supported the PS2. And P2P would be awesome,
but I doubt it will come to fruition.
I wouldn't be so quick to be happy about this move by EA...
Not sure what you're talking about (link please? or front page here?) but I can't understand why *anyone* (read: gamer/consumer) would be happy about that.
a friend of someone else posted a status about being happy that EA is getting rid of Online Passes (front page news). My thought. EA wouldn't toss passes out without >
> making up for it somewhere else... if said rumor revels to be true in near future... their profits go from $10 to $60 per game... again... just my speculation
Hmmm... Interesting. Thanks for the info, guys. I'm curious where the rumors you're talking about originated, Ham. This *sounds* great, but I think you're right in that
they must still have something up their sleeves. They wouldn't just straight up decide "hey, let's get rid of a source of revenue that has literally no additional costs
to us." I suppose we'll see in time.
That is a B**** that that happened
Yeah. I'm a little sad I'll never be able to finish it. Now I'm just trying not to think about it.
nice, I was #274
Aww, you beat me! XD
Double Congrats Ham!
Just as fun as the first!
That's good to know, I will definitely pick this up then!
And easier to complete.
you are playing this game too? I found it really fun, on my last playthrough with the asp now
in a few hours... one of our guys is in a halo session right now :/
idk if ill be awake tho by the time hes back :/
I'll take it
That's so sad! Alas, I do not have the game.
First glance, I thought you said 'SEX'...
Apparently my games played on my phone counted toward the 10 and 100 games played achievements on the web version. That was easy ^__^
Fucking Awesome Game! Everyone should play this!
What was your favorite slow mo shot?
@Durb... any were badass but it took the term nutshot to a whole nother level xD
Woohoo! Happy birthday!
Oh no, why is SSX incompletable?
"Joining any Global Event will get you the 50,000+ players since EA has unlocked this badge!"
Or is there another badge that is impossible to get?
is there a source for that quote? was unaware of that?
It's at the bottom of the first solution.
read that. hope it works then... gonna go ahead and order then test on second profile
May the 4th be with you.
