People that have bought a new game at release can be biased due to feeling the need to defend a 40 purchase.

I bought two of those games (other was a review copy) and they are still rubbish. Some people think a bad game still deserves 3/4 stars. Idiots.

Of course, from a technical standpoint it's not a great game but my experience with it was a positive one. That being said it's now a 3.5/5 for me.

You get bonus for doing declassifieds on insane so easier to 3 star. My 1st playthrough hardcore co-op did no declassifiedsm

My solo playthrough was on insane with declassifieds turned on was tough but more than do-able I did lose some hair doing the final kahn battle though lol

Yep solo insane declassifieds run through only tough bits for me were in the mansion and final boss fight , that was 8 minutes of utter torture lol

If you do co-op apparently it sets the star ratings to the lowest difficulty in game for example if you play insane and your partners hard ore or lower you can only earn

There was a glitch where the easy players could back out before end to give you onyx stars don't think its been patched

You know I found the campaign to be quite enjoyable, it's not your usual gears when you throw in the declassified alterations. Those provide to be a challenge at times.

Love the campaign, Sofias testimony is my favourite out of the 5. Next weeks sessions are going to be a blast!!!

I did hardcore on my own when I got it. But if you are doing casual your achievements for this game will go off the scale for stacked/difficulty cheeves next week

It will. Plus they release easy pursuits that last a few days/a week that can give you EGO. I'm not actually grinding yet. Only playing every day to do the Echelon.......

Contracts which you need for another achievement. Each one gives you 10 Rep and you need 600 overall (I'm at 540 now). A weekly one gives 50 Rep too.

But while I'm doing those I'm also earning XP and levelling my weapons - so gain EGO naturally with minimal effort.

Once I've got my Rep achievement I'll stop playing until either the missing online map comes back (for that ach) or new DLC is out. Then I'll finish up.
