Well I was not going out of my way to do it, but over the course of just playing games I was two games short of acquiring the easy score collection badge. Thanks to a Walmart sale I now own Hannna Montanna, so I went and bought the other missing title Nicktoons MLB. Both have been loaded into my Xbox as games played and my new badge should be up adding 75 points to my badgescore.
The only other collection badge that I am close to getting is Launch King. I would need to find 3 games for that, but I have no burning desire to actively hunt these down. If I find them in my travels that would be great, If not then no big deal. I will also have a badge upgrade on my achievement streak from 30 days to 50 days, which bumps me up 5 more points.
The Sports and Retro badges are the next badges within reach. One buffet game will do it for sports. I think I will knock that out after I finish up the current three buffet games I am working on right now. Historical Shooter, Point & Click and Brick are all under 2000 points of being bumped up to a two star status. Those will have to wait until after the buffet is over. The rest of the badges will require a lot of work, plus I still have a lot of games to clean up. So much to do and not enough time to do everything.
I am getting closer and closer to that 50 wins badge, currently sitting at 48 wins from this past weeks auto challenge that turned out to be a real battle. The main competition was a dude from Hong Kong with an almost 500K gamerscore. The first day he threw up 1K in some Japanese game called Ever17, WTF?! Suffice it to say I had to battle and chase him down all week putting up just shy of 3000 points to win with a 200 point buffer that went almost to the end of the challenge. The badge upgrade will eventually be a nice 10 point boost.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (54/72 Achievements)
Some games you like so much that you end up being a little sad when you complete them. That is the feeling I'm getting here, as I mopped up the rest of the original 1K in the game. I could certainly play more of this title just for fun. I jut have to finish the onslaught DLC and I can place this game on the shelf until the next DLC sale for me to buy the Vietnam DLC. Speaking with Sith Rick I now know why I did not buy it when it was on sale a while back. It was my 400 MSP rule. I hate the idea of DLC and support it at the lowest possible level. That means I never buy anything more then 400 MSP. The Vietnam DLC was on sale for 600 and that is why I did not get it then. If it comes around again for 600 I may bend the rule this one time. Or I may buy it now from Best Buy for $15 and use one of my certificates making the game $5 (or 400 MSP).

Quake 4 (43/50 Achievements)
Games 682 / 5,000 (13.64% Done) || Frags 4,477 / 10,000 (44.77% Done) || Flags 863 / 1,000 (86.3% Done)
Getting very close to popping two more achievements in the game, I think in about June I should have all my flags and half my kills done.
The Club (45/50 Achievements)
Kill count after 5 session is at 1,670 / Session Kill Average 334
Lego Batman (10/46 Achievement)
Lego Batman is fun, but not as good as the Star Wars or Indiana Jones Lego games I have played. It just dabbles in the universe and the cinematic are just eh. There is one thing that playing Batman does, it just reaffirms how great of a rogues gallery the Batman has.
Transformers: War For Cybertron (34/50 Achievement)
My Co-op buddies Dark Lord White & Sith Rick have finished up all the story level achievements with me. A hard play through and some clean up and we will get close to finishing this game off.
Gears of War 2 (76/79 Achievements)
As stated in my blog last week, I was going to hit this game hard cause I am sick of see it on my pile. TA sessions are all complete and all my online achievements are complete. I just have to play through the campaign on insane and start running the last level of the game for kills. Kill Count 9,951 / 100,000
Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper (DONE)
My point & Click buffet game was fun and a fairly quick completion making it #6/26. I enjoyed their take on the case and was really glad for location shortcuts via the map. If I had to walk all over it could have dragged the game out. I would certainly pick up another game if they made one.
Cars 2 (21/50 Achievements)
I did not get around to seeing the movie, so I was surprise at the secret agent angle the game took on. This is another buffet game I am working on.
Halo CE Anniversary (26/44 Achievements)
A classic game and the only reason that I own an Xbox today. It was great replaying this game with the updated graphics. I really loved the added feature of being able to switch between the original graphics and the updated graphics on the fly while you were playing. I am playing this game on my 720p TV and it makes the original graphics look like crap (i'm sure they looked even worse at 1080p). I always remembered this game as being cutting edge graphics wise. I really could not get enough of this game ten years ago. So there is something to be said about living in the moment of a game that is lost with time, because it was a spectacular gaming experience.
I got to relive that experience this past weekend when my Samsung DLP TV took a crap and burned out its third bulb! I was pissed to say the least, right in the middle of me trying to win my auto challenge. The only silver lining here is that I still have an old Mitsubishi CRT television laying around as a back up. I was able to hook it up and continue playing. This is when the look of the game I remember came back in full force! Designed to take advantage of what was available back then the game looked great once again. I finished the game playing mostly in the updated graphics mode, but it was cool to see the the then and now.
