I haven't updated my blog for about a month. To cut a long story short, I've been quite busy the last few weeks. In the week and a half after my last blog, I had an entire film to cut, edit in audio, then cut down by around 40%, as well as a production folder, and two critical reflections. That time was not fun, especially when I would up doing three all-nighters, twice, with only about four hours sleep bridging the two. I then had an exam to revise for a week later, which wasn't too bad, just time consuming. Then,
Max Payne 3, and I was so caught up playing that, that I ignored my alarms to tell me to write my blog. But, I was the tenth player on the site to complete all the singleplayer grinds! (despite actually being seventh, but the game wasn't updated in time). Anyway, I completed the story, and all the random achievements, but I've still got the two hardest difficulties, and the two New York Minute modes to do, neither of which I am looking forward to. I also have done a lot of multiplayer, getting to level 21, and unlocking all but two achievements (flawless Gang Wars victory and Level 50). I'm actually quite enjoying it, and am surprisingly decent, usually getting second or third in standard deathmatches, and around 4000 points or more in Gang Wars. Haven't really touched the other modes. Oh, and going back ages, I got a ton of
Forza Motorsport 2 achievements by hiring a driver and sending him round all the tracks while I was editing. Still got a couple of million dollars to get the last few cars. And, I started
Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, a fantastic game, evidenced by the fact that I put in 25 hours between a Friday and Sunday (before my exam). It's also great in co-op; been playing with a couple of guys on my course, which made up about 10 of those 25 hours. And (last one, I promise!) I got
Trials HD when it was on sale last week, and got all the tracks done up to the first Extreme one, after which I gave up. I really need to keep up to date with this blog. That is a really big block of text...
