PermalinkA Day In The Life #4 Diggs, Food, and Trolls
It’s not the undead that I have a problem with. I kind of like them. It’s the normal people I can’t stand- Nigel West Dickens from Undead Nightmare.

Ah, he's an American, funny guy he is! Or... was that in Canada... Nope that was definately Canada. This guy, NOT funny- Irish from Red Dead Redemption

Okay so the last time we spoke with Sgt. Digglesworth, we encountered a few issues regarding, press releases and hand surgery. I beileved that they just weren't exciting enough topics so today we have taken a different route. Through militaristic and Sun-Tzu methodology, we have taken the liberty to really put the heat on Diggs by asking him about some controversial topics. Such as, food, women, and drinks of choice. I know, inexcplicably controversial right? However, in order to boost the readership factor, we have started pulling his nails with tiny tweezers dipped in tobasco, hooked his earlobes to a car battery and forsnipped his kneecaps. This will obviously generate the best results regarding his truth for these matters.

(Diggs interrupts and asks what he is on about)

What are you on about?
Listen! I ask the questions here. I have asked a team of organic cybernetically enhanced sentient beings from a distant planet wearing Victoria Secret bikinis to commence further torturing if you don't heed the instructions.

Hold on a second! Whats this about torturing and forsnips? I am sitting on my couch drinking coffee. However, the sentient bikini beings is a nice thought. Why can't we talk about pixies, applesauce and the void of happiness that is filling the world with glee like a twinkie is filled with sugary goodness and sweet perry winkle thoughts?
Listen Diggs! Oh what the hell, we might as well just continue because you have ruined my Hostel imagery for the folks reading this. Lets just ask some questions.

So, Diggs, what do you do when you get up in the morning?
I wake up.

Thanks, Cpt. Obvious!
Nope, it's SgtDigglesworth!

Oh my word! Alright...deep breaths...What do you do after you wake up?
To be precise, I hit the loo, jump in the show, jump out of the shower; which truthfully is quite dangerous. You know, I live on the edge sometime, you know, like the Aerosmith song.

*sings Livin' on the Edge*

And after you 'dangerously' jump out of the shower, what is on the agenda next?
I indulge my senses with a fresh pot of:

External image

Then I grab my laptop and cozy on up to the keyboard, tune my browser to TA and read all of the delightful and fun loving things being said on the feeds. For example, Matrarch Haiku today was briliant and filled me with an unbelievable joy. I swear the colours of the sky turned litepink, then I checked some gamer goals from ChewieOnIce which added so much inspiration that I never feel LOST and that is owed to N0T PENNYS B0AT, and of course the bromance between Dog of Thunder and osubluejacket, proves that love is always in the air. Sometimes, the inspiration feels like I awoke from a cacoon and burst into the fresh crisp air like a butterfly seeking solace in the days heavenly skies.

*exhales* a slow breath.

Dude, what the hell is wrong with you? Did you just shamelessly plug a bunch of people? Are you feeling alright?
Namaste.
That's a very existential question. Am I truly alright? Are you alright? Is the cat in the hat alright? Sometimes we need to just breath and invoke the right of running through the house in scantily clad clothing singing showtunes and reaching the heights of greatness.

(After a brief pause, and a lot of awkward gazes and pauses, I resume questioning Diggs in hopes that it gets less weird and far more exciting)

Okay, so what do you enjoy drinking? Say when you don't game and when you do game?
Well, when I am not gaming and I pull up to a nice fire on a cool summers night and I am entranced by the stars....

Will you just answer and quit weirding me the hell out!!!?!
Alright my hasty friend. I tend to drink this:

When I am gaming, I like to indulge myself in this:

and this

Oh and I love honey!

This:

Hahaha..no you silly goose! This:

I see, how about food what is your favourite food?
Well, I have two things that I love to eat. I love pizza and I love lasagna. My third favourite thing to eat is a a cheeseburger with fries. I order some of the best pizza in my city from here:

External image

I order three medium pizzas with two toppings for $17.99, its quite an amazing deal.

That is a great deal, but this is actually very droll. Can we get into something more feverish and interesting? How about women? What do you look for in a women?
Well she must be good in archery, spell casting, making remedies, wear little outfits that accentuate here athletic physique that she gained from battling necrophages and wild beasts in the forests of Darkentrue. We will sing over the sounds of birds and harps playing while we slumber into each others arms encompassing our spirits to become one under the Great Oak that grants knowledge to those of purity and strength.

What the....what..what the hell was that? I thought you would say something like this:

External image

You know, like a Cosplay girl. Not a fictious character that lives in the deep woods of your cranial cavity.
Oh, my dear friend the Elven vixon of my dreams doth exist. You are jaded by your own barriers. She lives! My angelic elf!

Alright Diggs, this is becoming too much. I think you have gone off your rocker.
My grandfather had an amazing rocking chair, it smelled like old-man skin and pipe smoke.

Thats it! I can't do this anymore. You are seriously...I don't know...you are hurting my brain. We should have stuck with the torturing idea, this just got out of hand.
Okay, well I would just like to give a brief PSA before we depart.

Have you seen one of these:

PermalinkA Day in the Life #3: Diggs Revisited and The Haunting of Press Releases!
"Brasky got his wife pregnant, and she gave birth to a delicious sixteen ounce steak. The afterbirth was sautéed mushrooms" -The memoirs of Bill Brasky

“Didn’t we have some fun though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said ‘Goodbye’ and you were like ‘NO WAY!’ and then I was all ‘We pretended we were going to murder you’? That was great." -GLaDOS

Before I shall delve into the mind of...well...my mind, which I may say is a slippery slope of casms, dark voids, and dry Sahara Desert humour. I must add a disclaimer, the reason, because it is with the utmost of charasmatic respect that I do so in order to differentiate my opinions from those who I care for. Duly noted.

DISCLAIMER
These views and opinions are my own, aren't anyone elses or is it reflective on any other party to TA, it's members, or the companies it represents. Also, I want to note that in no way is this interview reflective of a psychological defect represented by the writer (SgtDigglesworth). I do not have multiple personalties, however I am interviewing myself and I believe that I am totally aware of it...atleast I hope in part that I believe this is a ficticious interview and not me actually having a third person conversation with myself, although I am a pretty fun guy to talk to.

When we last spoke with SgtDigglesworth he explained his upcoming hand surgery, and showed us his Xbox and some wrestling figurines. Recetly, we were able to catch up with him after an exciting trip to the country.

So how are things Diggs?
Groovy. Aside from the fact I left my wallet somewhere in the country. Other than that I had an amazing time at a pig roast/picnic. I didn't eat the pig though.

Awesome. So what did you get up to out there?
Well, I sat at a bonfire the first night and relaxed with some family and friends. Then I caught a fish. Would you care to see it?

Sure

External image

I named it Tanya the Trout, it was glorious. We had a blast together.

External image

Umm, Diggs, that fish isn't real.
Of course it is. What makes you say that it isn't? I have proof. Look at the pictures.

Thats a fish alright. But it's a stuffed body pillow of a fish.
One word okay. IMAGINATION!!! Stop trying to rain on my parade. Tanya has an amazing personality.

So Diggs, I'm gong to change the subject.
Oh Tanya! Fine, ask away.

I recently heard through the grapevine that you were disgruntled with some industry press releases?
Truth be told, I am sure that I am not the only one. However, it is true. Sometimes when you are perusing through press releases from the PR departments of gaming companies, the information provided is suspect and well, wrong or incredibly vague. For example, I was researching an article for a game Ninja Exorcist, and I had the entire announcement ready to go, only to find that it was something that was not part of the coverage.

How do you mean?
Well, certain teams cover certain releases. This was one of those times that after inputting 24 screenshots and writing a very detailed announcement that it can to be another teams story. So I had to Hong Kong fooey that straight out the door. Here are some of the screenshots that I had to upload to photobucket, than copy each image link in order to plop them into the story.

External image

External image

[
External image

So is this something that happens a lot?
No not really. However, it makes you wonder who writes these PR's up? It wasn't until I saw the video that stated at the end it was an Indie Game and not XBLA. No where in the PR was there anything regarding the medium it was to be released, except that they were excited to announce it and they gave a ton of details regarding the game, but they missed the most important detail. Is it Indie, XBLA, or retail? On another note, press releases sometimes claim they are the first to do something when in fact five other games that year have done the same thing. Also, they have a tendency to upload 1001 screenshots and five of those are new. There was an instance when I had to grab an unwatermarked image, only to realise it was 30mb and the size of a small boat. Luckily a good semaritan of the TA news team worked some magic and got the image.

What do you mean?
Okay, when a press release is written it should basically state what it is pertaining to. A new trailer, fact sheet, DLC, announcements etc. However, you get some departments that state they are creating something 'brand new' for the industry but it's really just a new game from another studio based on the mechanics of previous games. As I mentioned PR's can be vague, false, or contain duplicate information. Don't even get me started on the spelling errors and so forth. I mean, I make some grammatical and spelling errors, but if I notice them, something is wrong.

Do you ever get incredibly frustrated at certain press releases?
Sometimes, I mean I am a pretty laid back guy. However, I did create a preliminary fight card for any PR department willing to take me up on the challenge. Such as duplicate press releases promoting something they already promoted, lacking proper information or generating false information in hopes to profit from a saturated genre for example.

External image

Did you send that to anyone?
No, the chicken of depression told me not to.

What?
The Chicken of Depression, nevermind its all in the imagination brother. I did however get a response regarding how sorry one PR department was.

External image

Is that..blood?
.............

Anyway, how about we turn to something else?
Alright, but I have a date in the Mojave Wasteland, so can we speed this up?

Sure. What are you currently working on regarding video games?
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings I am loving this game. I have done one playthrough and I am planning on choosing the other path on my next play through.

BioShock 2 I only played about half of it the first time around, and I am planning on running through it again. I loved the first BioShock and was impartial to the second one.

Saints Row: The Third I have not started it yet, its been sitting in my binder of games for sometime now, and I am hoping to get to it at some point. However, I just reached 45% completion and I know if I put it in it will drop to 44% and I am really trying to hit 50%, but thats roughly 300 achievements away.

Fallout: New Vegas I could beat this at anytime, but I just can't get back into it. I am really trying however, I feel I have lost touch with it.

Medal of Honor Once again I really enjoyed this game and the SP campaign, however, I take stabs at it randomly on the verge of just beating it, yet it just doesn't hold my attention span for that long. I really want to get the MP achievements, but I just can't be bothered with the effort at this point.

Well, I guess that concludes the interview. Anything else you would like to add?
I just wanted to say I am hoping to find the card game Dog of Thunder was refering to, it seems like it would be a blast. Also, I just wanted to say that the TA Newshounds are an amzing group of people, as well as, content, walkthroughs and the community advisors. The TA community is a welcome and fullfilling place for all of your info regarding gaming slutions and sessions. Thank you to all those who support me on my journey for blog fame (HAHAHHAHAHHA..) and as per usual her is a smile and a video.

Thank you Diggs. We will pass on your good wishes and smiley musical charm to the community.
Cheers!!

PermalinkThe Tao of Digglesworth #1: Parental Advisory
"The Bluebird of Happiness long absent from his life, Ned is visited by the Chicken of Depression." Gary Larson from The Far Side

Be extremely subtle, even to the point of formlessness. Be extremely mysterious, even to the point of soundlessness. Thereby you can be the director of the opponent's fate. Sun Tzu-The Art of War

NOTE*** Please forgive any spelling errorssmile, and if you don't want to read all of the blippity blah blah, the gaming aspect is near the bottom. You are now Diggified. Enjoy and thank you.

Should I or should I not conduct the further writing of this blog? Is controversy and opinion the feeding ground for knowledge or for ego-centric and maniacal grandeur where people use anonymity to generate their persona? Is an opinion allowed to be stated by rules formed by government or just by natural human justification? Is a blog just a platform for stories, creation, statistical representation, or can it be used to generate discussion and allow for honesty to speak from whatever depth it has arisen from? Orrrrr am I just utterly confused and rationalizing my own chaos through pictures, text and music videos? Either way, I believe all of it is just a simple process like bees polinate, make honey, and I put that honey in my green tea. Furthermore, this blog will contain all of this and videogames of horse of course.

I have decided to take my blog in another direction after I became privy( haha..privy) to a video involving a political figure and child abuse. Serious I know, however, I really feel it relates to not only video games, but also to many other aspects of human kind. Some of you may have seen this video that was recorded by a cell phone from a neighbor who not only recorded it, but took it further by calling the parent out and asking him "to come over and teach him."

Here's the vide-o YO!

The video involves step father Anthony Sanchez, as you saw, who is an elected offical and is now being brought up on criminal charges for child abuse.

I just wanted to start by stating that when I was a child, back in the 80's..baby, I was only belted once. The reason, because on Mothers Day, when I believe I was seven years of age, a friend of mine and I took our bikes on a journey through my hometown. Picture this, I was probably 3' 1/2 feet tall, about 60pds, and was not a very experienced bike enthusiast at the time. I rode my bike all the way to the other side of the city (not a very big city, only about 125k population) got a flat tire and had to call from a strangers house. I was gone for about 6 hours. This was a time when kids didn't have cell phones and I had absolutely no change because I think I spent it on Double Dragon at the 7-Eleven. When my dad picked me up it was dead silence, and confusion and fear were running through my body like Allen Wake without a flash light (told you videogames would be present) Anyway, when I arrived home to a scared livid mother, I was rushed inside, screamed at and then WHAM!! I gots the belt son!!! Did my actions warrent that decision? Or would that be considered abuse? In retrospect, I have no remorse or hate regarding that situation, as one must think that eventhough my mother cried while she did it that it was still rational in some sense of the word. Would I do that? Probably not, but I mean I did get my leg wedged between a little red wagon and a license plate once, and my dads remedy was brandy and gauze.

I do however, believe that beating your son, or step son because he couldn't catch or throw the ball properly does not justify whipping them with a belt. However, what will change these sort of actions aside from patients. Parents across all boards will do what they 'deem' to be proper parenting and ultimately what works best. We all succumb to anger and the prospects of irrational violence at some point. Or maybe some haven't and hopefully never will. I have to think is it weakness that ultimately plays on the weak? Which leads me to 'bullying' in videogames.

Anonymity is the basis of why bullying in online games can exist. You see, if all of our information was displayed ie. address, phone numbers, dental records or pizza preference, would that stop bullying? Maybe. Yet, because people can remaing anonymous they have the ability to say "Your moms teeth are so yellow, when she smiles she causes traffic to slow down." Ah yuk yuk. I don't know if I told that right. Anyway, although no one, in my experience has ever said that, just stuff that is incredibly worse, and borderline sociopathic. It all boils down to anonymity. The ability to just be a certain persona that no one knows or they do know and share similar beliefs when it comes to video games. To hear 13 year old teeny boppers ask my fiance out is incredible. To send phone numbers over Xbox LIVE in hopes of some crazy romance establishing is just plain weird and creepy (unless you are Christian Slater in True Romance, well then anything is possible) Also, there have actual been a reported incident involving two gamers, a young one roughly 16 or so, and an older guy say my age, 31, and through sheer ignorence the younger gamer gave the older guy his address, and believe it or not, he showed up at the younger gamers house, threatened and beat him. Crazy right? All in all, gaming is gaming and like K.E.N says "Keep everything nice!"

Okay so finally after venturing into the depths of crazy beltings and random gaming violence (which truthfully is another discussion in itself) I will finally just mention some games that I would like to boost or games I am playing.

The Darkness
I am currently looking to boost MP, but I can't find a server for the life of me, and well I am a complete noob to gaming sessions. Which reminds me, why do people rate you down if you message them pretty much a days time before the session and tell them you can't make it? Eventhough they respond and tell you all is well?

BioShock 2
I actually enjoyed a bit of the MP, however I do need to push through some of the little ole' cheevos for this.

You Don't Know Jack
Eventhough I have some achievements I can accomplish by myself, I still need some others that involve people. Also, Cookie Masterson is one annoying dude.

Army of Two: The 40th Day
I need to do the MP stuff and someone to do Contractor difficulty with because the A.I is prone to death.

I will say, that I absolutely love The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and I also throughly enjoy Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning I would suggest if you like action oriented RPG's and if you like pixelized nudity and a mature story lean towards the prior.

Alrighty, I think I have written just about enough. If you would like me to discuss something or write about something or possibly be interviewed then feel free to leave a comment. Also just leave a comment regarding what you think regarding todays blog. My last blog was near famous with zero comments but read by many hearts.

Cheers to everyone and the community here at TA!! Good Day from the great white north. Its time for some grilled cheese, hot tea and something else but I don't know what that is yet.

Heres a smile smile

Of course a video. Did you know that Jimmy Page and Robert Plant based a lot of the fourth album on The Lord of Rings? Check it out ya dig!!!

Cheers!!

PermalinkDay in the LIfe #2: Diggles Interviews Cloud Strife of FF Fame!!
"If I am lyin, I'm dyin!"-An unknown great philospoher

"Watch out for the Roboguards!"-Cloud Strife

External image

**NOTE** This interview was conducted a few months back, and it has come to surface that since the time of the interview, Cloud appeared to be alright, but then, I found through some industry sources, he has been on a decline. We should all hope and pray for him.

To begin, in the last interview, it was a very pleasurable experience to partially dig into the depths of the Digglesworth. Now we are back again and this time it is truly a pleasure to be graced by the one the only Cloud Strife from one of the greatest games of all-time Final Fantasy 7. Its been a while since anyone has heard from him last, as he has been apart of a few other projects, most notably Final Fantasy: Advent Children one the best cinematic experiences that enhances and helps solidify the story of Final Fantasy 7.

We must start by stating that, in all truth, although he is iconic, Mr. Strife is a wartorn man-boy-teenager who has overcome some of the greatest hardships any human-genome-mako poisoned person has ever faced. We had to track him down, and we found him in the Gold Saucer, betting on Chocobo Races, drinking a freshy and partaking in conversation with some other notable characters from his past. So lets get into this, shall we.

As the smoke looms from some unknown origins, in a room filled with heavy flourescent auras, we got a table and sat down with Cloud.

(Shake Hands)
Hey there, Mr. Strife or should I call you Cloud?
...........Uh...who and what are you?

Oh, I completely apologize for my manners! I am Sgt.Digglesworth. Its weird but I controlled you in Final Fantasy 7. It's hard to contain, but I am a truly huge fan, and I was hoping to interview you.
Oh, I remember you!! You are the jack-ass who thought he was a beast, and took me, Red XIII and Tifa to fight Ruby Weapon with only being level 30 something....you *derp* ....

(He continued on ranting and raging in what I believe is a manner that is not something I should input into this interview, I am pretty sure you can get the picture)

Um, excuse me, Mr. Strife, uh, Cloud sir?
Whew!!! Alright, I apologize for my outburst , but you truly are a fools fool for doing that. You know even though you have save files, the transition and time in limbo waiting for it to load actually transports us back through time and it rips our pixelized asses into even tinier pieces and then puts them back together again, you try doing that for over 100 hours on 10 million consoles. Regardless, I will permit you the allowance to continue the interview, oh and my friends call me C.S, but you can call me Cloud!

So, you were born in NIbelheim and childhood friends with Tifa Lockhart?
From what I remember, it was truly a great time although it took a very long time to understand how I came about, as I only had little bits and pieces of my mind, and I really didn't get the full story until the end of disc 2 and the beginning of disc 3 things became very clear.

True enough, and you joined AVALANCHE who helped you along the way to better understand your planet?
Yea, thats where I became re-united with Tifa, and that dick Barrett, but we became friends and man (takes a drink) that was one hell of a journey. HEY BARRETT SAY HELLO!!!!

(Barrett looks over, with one finger waving and then he points his cannon of an arm at me and yells something like F@%#% you are the $%$#$% who brought us to fight Emerald Weapon without the Underwater Materia you #(#&$*$&@...this continued for a good half an hour)

Anyway, Cloud what was it like having to deal with Sephiroth and Jenova?
Look man, after Tifa's mother died and her father said I could never go near her, I looked up to Sephiroth and joined SOLDIER when I was 13 years old, however I didn't make it and became a regular Shinra Infantry Man, then I finally got a chance and joined Sephiroth at Mt. Nibel, and well the rest is history because as we all know Sephiroth lost his marbles and burned the village, luckily I made it out with hair intact.

About that. On a side not what movie star would you compare yourself to or have been compared to?
Finally, some real questions. I'm sick of rehashing my history. Well, the ladies say I look like that Transporter guy..um...whats his name?

External image

Jason Statham? But he is like 6', bald and English.
F&^$ You man!

Whoa, I can see the similarities, maybe its just the hair that threw it off. I apologise. The ladies say I look like Gerard Butler, from Gamer.
Shut the F&$* Up, yea maybe if he was a foot shorter, with pot belly, a beard and looked like he's been drinking straight for a month!!

(I had to go to the bathroom and sob for a few minutes)

Sorry, it took a bit. There was quite the line-up. Anyway, so you have done other projects?
Yea of course, who doesn't like the C.S baby! I worked on Advent Children, I was a special character in FF Tactics, Dirge of Cerberus, Crisis Core, Dissidia, and Kingdom of Hearts to name a few. I get around..(Barret interrupts and said something like "uh uh uh thats what she said.)

Okay, on another note, what are you up to now?
Truthfully, I may have a proect in line, but it hasn't been disclosed. Other than that I am retired. I have made quite a pretty penny since my first game and well, I lived the high life for awhile. Betting and drinking here and there, but now I am pretty low key. ( At this point he issued for Vincent to put 500 on the black Chocobo, and starting sipping on a flourescent pink drink)

I think I have asked you enough questions for now, anything else you would like to add?
I just want to say that the majority of characters today just don't cut it. They don't have limit breaks or a Buster Sword as big as mine
(Barret cut in again and stated..uh..uhhuhuuhu...Thats what..) Shut the F%$# up B. Also, I just want to dedicate this to the memory of Ms. Aerith, you will always be in my heart. I also, want to state that Link ain't got ish on me. Also, the interview was fun but you truly are a dork and I hope to never see you again. HAHAHHAHAHA

Alright thats it, when the hell did you become so hardcore? You look like a O.C version Paulie D, and you are a cross-dresser!!!
What the...OHHHH SNAAPPP...who the hell is Paulie D.? I only dressed like that to save Tifa!!! YO!! Red, Cait Sith, and Vincent cap this fool!!!

shock

As I feared for my life I jumped on the sky cart out of the Gold Saucer and luckily was able to hop a train and get a plane back to Canada.

Well, I am writing this without the consent of Mr. Strife, but he is nothing like I thought he would be after I followed him for so long. Its surprising though, that he is about 40, and still looks the same.

***EDIT***

A recent close friend to Cloud recently passed along a photo of what Cloud is looking like today. We will always care and have community support for you. Cheers Cloud!!

External image

Nonetheless, I hope that whoever reads this enjoys the interviews and in someway adds to their day or provided them a little bit of a home away from home (.............) or a tiny break from the everyday. I will be back again, with another lucky participant to partake in my Day in the LIfe series.

If you would like to be apart of this, or know someone who should be apart of this please leave a comment. I always enjoy hearing the thoughts of the TA community.

This is SgtDigglesworth signing off. At as per custom, I shall bid you adieu with a smile and a video.

**NOTE**
I have used this picture before. I am just incredibly lazy today.wave

I dedicate this song to Cloud and all of his compadres!!!

You will always be in our hearts!!!
Cheers!!

PermalinkThe Life of Diggles #1: Surgery and Wrestling Figurines
Normally I compile lists, because I truly love Top 5 lists, however, they are better with detail, pictures and honesty. That leads me to my new segmant of blogging, The Life of...I would love to eventually interview other TA members to get the low down on what a day in the life is like for them and the craziness that encapsulates their natural existence. Hold on one second, I am entirely distracted as my upstairs neighbor is playing some of the most horrible music at an intolerable levelangry and I will apologize for any spelling and grammatical mistakes that are bound to happen, eventhough I am probly one of the worst spelling champions on the TA team.

Okay, with that said we should enter into the realm of Life of. I truthfully am a person who is relatively private, however a large part of me decided to indulge the community (well the seven followers I do have) with a little bit of my life in video gaming and also, personally.

Lets begin the interview that will be conducted by SgtDigglesworth about SgtDigglesworth.

So Diggles, may I call you Diggles?
Yes or you can call me Diggs, or Sarge, whatever suits your pleasure.

External image

Where did you gamertag come from?
The heavens! Actually, it just came to be and it honestly had no reference to Mr. Bigglesworth from Austin Powers. I had another name that pertained to music, as I used to do a lot of music, as well as travel and perform, however my close compadres started calling me Diggs. So ultimately I decided when I joined Xbox LIVE that I would create SgtDigglesworth. Not a very entertaining story however, it reigns supreme in my books. Although, there are some amazing GT's out there.

What was your music alias?
Diggly the Puffin Ruffin Fish!! Actually, shut your food conduit and move on...the horror, the horror!!

What do you do when you aren't playing videogames?
That question is super generic! Regardless I shall answer. Well, as I mentioned prior, I used to do a lot of music, but my actual jobby job was a chef. I have worked at a few different places in the food industry, most notable the Italian Canadian Club (I am Scottish by the way) and The Manitoba Legislature building. I have cooked for the Finance Minister of Canada and well, essentially the Government in Manitoba. Yet, the best place I have ever worked was Billys Downtown Deli in London, Ontario. The head chef was awesome and put the fear of God in me whenever I mucked up. Howver, these were the best people and best food I have ever worked with. The culinary arts are a true passion of mine, and honestly I am not a fan of fine dining, as it is relatively pretentious and the portions are ridiculous. Anyway, thats what you get when they give you a tiny piece of a $1200 truffle. Give me a Reuben and fries anyday!

So what do you do now? You metioned 'was' a chef?
In regards to that it's a somber topic for me. I had to leave the culinary field due to a bone growth in my hand that delivers a lot of pain, even writing, as the bone growth (which isn't gross by the way) is in my right hand which is my dominant hand.

I'm sorry to hear that. What are the ramifications of said problem
As I mentioned, its not a topic I truly like to express because I am not a fan of pity nor self pity. Adaptation, is one of the greatest things we human animals have the ability to do. Nonetheless, I eventually will have surgery around November of this year and this will work out in one of two ways. First off, I will have a cast for roughly two months and then have an undisclosed amount of physio afterward. The second thing is the doctor informed me that I may lose or have limited mobility in my thumb, forefinger and my F.U. finger. Honestly, I don't really care because I know a few gamers that have to deal with disablities and I believe they feel the same way as I do regarding such situations. Ultimately, I am looking forward to having ladies sign my cast and hopefully a nice feline of a women hold my hand a couple of times a week during physio, not to mention I will find a lovely gamer lady friend to type my articles and blogs for TA. Adversity is a key component in the baby steps of life, it only becomes an issue when people take leaps and bounds without grasping the whole spectrum they live in. I take three different pills, one for nerve damage, one for joint pain, and one to sleep, however, I feel my life is better than it has ever been.

What do you love about gaming
Well, I love all types of games, some more so now. I used to love the dialogue in RPG's before the voice-over came into play. They were essentially my reading material. I am not a big reader because everytime I read I lull myself into a deep trance and fall asleep. I thouroughly enjoy RPG's, trivia, FPS, and well any game really, although now it is fairly difficult to do fighting and rythem, eventhough I love the Tekken series. More so than not, I love the gaming world. Sure people are stubborn arses in reality and in a gaming community but it dosn't phaze me anymore because it's ultimately trivial. I love meeting people eventhough I have a relative social anxiety, people in gaming, especially how it has evolved, some of those people have become some of my better friends. I think the saddest thing is maybe we will never meet in actual physical life.

Alrighty, Diggs I think this is almost over anything else you really want to add?
Well, I am 31, 5'5, and I act and look like a small child-man thing. Is that good?

Ummm, I was actually wondering what are other things you do?

Okay, well, how about this.

So...ahhh...What was that?
I collect a lot of random things from my childhood and now. For example, I also have Star Wars Pez dispensers, fantasy books, Gears books, a lot of movies and a plethora of games. I have roughly 10 games I haven't even put into my Xbox. Want to see it?

Ahhh..Okay
