I haven't blogged in a while and I apologize to my loyal 13 blog followers. I've been taking a gaming hiatus. The gf and I have been watching a shit ton of HBOGO, True Blood in fact. I love anything Vampire so I am all about it. The actors aren't that good, and the southern accents are terrible, really bad. But the Vampire lore is what keeps me coming back.

I'm hoping to start back gaming soon. We're on Season 3 of TB so when we catch up with the show I will start getting some serious GS in. I think this break has helped me relax and not have to worry about scoring on a regular basis.

I've added a whopping 25 GS since my last blog..

+2 in Minesweeper for 10GS
+1 in Peggle for 15GS

Pretty bad. Oh well.. have a good week guys.

Blog time my friends!

How is everyone's weekend going? Good I hope. I got some serious GTA time in this weekend. I am working on the DLC for the PC version but I also played the retail to get the last achievement I needed in the Lost and The Damned.

I unlocked the Full Chat achievement in both the 360 and PC version for 140GS.



I also finished up Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown. I unlocked the 5 and 10 license tests. That's another 40 GS.

That brought my total for the day to +4 achievements unlocked for 180GS.

Not a bad day. I plan to finish up Asura's Wrath tomorrow and get that back to my rental place. Pretty sure I'll finish up the LATD for GTA (PC) this week as well. I'm sure I won't put up another 1000GS week, but I'll do my best.

So this week I did: +65 achievements unlocked for 1405 GS. Pretty pumped about that.

Early blog today, might update it later but I've been thinking of ways to motivate myself and I figured I'd go ahead and get the ideas out of my head before I forget.

I have two goals in mind. 60% completion percentage and the always constant, 100K GS. The 100k is the long haul, but recently I've been thinking about my completion percentage and I'm just not happy about it, honestly. I've played 202 games and only have 53% of the achievements. So... I have decided I will add no new games to my tag until 1 of 2 things happen..

60% completion percentage OR 90,000 GS. Realistically, I probably will add new titles if I haven't met this goal by September, since that is when the new big titles come out. There isn't much catching my eye until Borderlands 2, which comes out September 18th. So that's my deadline for the goals.

I need to unlock 437 achievements and score 7,780 more points. I am allowed to add DLC, but only for games on my card. Hopefully this will be an achievable goal and fun too.

Hello ladies (and gents)..

Another day in the bag, another achievement popped. I reached my goal of 1000GS for the week today. I played a whole lot of stuff so let's get to it!

Max Payne 3
I got into the multiplayer today and knocked out some achievements that I've had just sitting there. 100 multiplayer kills, top player in deathmatch and some others. All in all, +4 unlocked for 60 GS.

Duke Nukem Forever
Oh the fond memories of Duke! I've had this on my card since February so I decided to boot it up to see what I could get in an hour. After driving around as a mini duke in a rc car I called it a day. +5 unlocked for 85 GS.

Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown
I knocked out the 10 ranked matches and that was that. +1 unlocked for 20GS.

Microsoft Flight (PC)
I bit the bullet and bought one of those damn planes. I did the P51 mustang challenges and then did a few other achievements here and there. +8 unlocked for 185 GS.

So that's +18 achievements unlocked for 350 GS. That puts me at 1055 GS for the week and I still have two more days to go! Pretty pumped about this. Might be able to hit 1500. I plan to finish up Asura's Wrath tomorrow and do some more work on Duke Nukem. I may just save the points for next week and work on Deus Ex.

Thanks for those that follow me. I know all I post are stats, but this is my way of motivating myself to score more points. I'll try to come up with something to add to the blog.

I got some serious gaming in today. I started with some Asura's Wrath, then moved on to some Deus Ex, and finished with a bit of Lollipop Chainsaw.

Asura's Wrath
+10 achievements unlocked for 140 GS.

I'm still liking Asura's Wrath but I have to admit, the QTE are killing my arms. My right arm is aching today. I think I may take a break from this game tomorrow and work on Deux Ex.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution
+4 achievements unlocked for 35 GS.

People raved about this game so when BestBuy had it on sale for 19.99, I couldn't turn it down. So far I've played about 3 hours of it and going the stealthy route. The game is beautiful but I am kind of annoyed at how much I'm setting off alarms. I am being stealthy as possible and still managing to fuck it up. Oh well, the game is great so far and I'm hoping to finish it before my vacation ends.

Lollipop Chainsaw
+6 achievements unlocked for 70 GS.

The makers of Shadows of The Damned bring you Lollipop Chainsaw. The humor is there, some of the times. I don't feel like I'm getting the same experience as Shadows though. The combat works, the combos work but some of the Zombies are ridiculously hard to put down. I'm playing on easy and they are soaking up the damage. I do like the variety of enemies though. I'm still on the first level and keep dieing trying to protect a fucking cake, oh well.. I'll try again tomorrow. I am generally liking what I'm seeing..so far.

So that's 20 achievements unlocked for 245 GS today. Getting ever closer to the 2k goal for the month. I figure if I finish up these 3 games I should easily hit my goal.
