I'm a quarter of the way through the timeline when Borderlands 2 hits, and I'd say I'm on track to complete this by then. Hopefully it'll be significantly before then, but I don't know if I can keep motivated to grind the grind...

This week's Onyx Medals achieved were for Pistols and Heavy Weapons.

I thought heavy was going to take a lot longer and be more annoying, but it wasn't, provided you got the timing down right on the Hotel map. The likely last Onyx medal will be close between Sawed-off or Active Reloader with Assistant barely ahead of the other two.

Hammerburst: 2447/6000, 40%
Retro Lancer: 428/6000, 7%

A minor dent was put into weapon kills, mostly Pistols which started at 657. There's still so much more to go ...

This next week I'm looking to finish off Shock Trooper, Old Schooler, Captor, Gnasher, and Headshots.

Alright, so after farming some captor kills, it's not as annoying as I thought it would be. There's something very cathartic about hearing the boltok pistol fired followed closely by the squishy popping headshot sound.

The pistol kills will seem to go faster after finishing out captors. No need to bother with picking up a meat-shield after having to do an ammo run.

I'm now at the following marks:

Captor: 482/1000, 48%
Pistols: 587/6000, 9%
Headshots: 1742/4000, 43%
