It is going to be quite a short blog post today, as I have to be up earlyish tomorrow morning to go into college, even though I'm not in on Mondays or Tuesdays. Will go into detail a tad more in a bit though.

Again like yesterday my day gaming wise consisted of playing Minecraft on this server. Was in a skype call with a couple of good friends while playing which was cool, especially when we went to go caving and got lost.

I also have mostly finished off Transformers: DOTM. I wasn't expecting to get it done today but I thought after I got to Chapter 4 that I might as well push through the whole game today instead of doing it bit by bit, and I glad I did. Only a couple more multiplayer achievements to get. I was able to get the last 60 seconds achievement pretty easily, and in 5 minutes the class I was using was already at level 6! Should be able to get this game fully done in the next couple of days. Hopefully Conquest will have some people in when I try playing. Next game after Transformers will be Eragon, which I haven't heard that good stuff about.

With it being the last week, as I think I mentioned yesterday, all the work for my college course has to be fully finished and ticked off this week. I'm doing an Extended Diploma in ICT, which has some cool units like programming units, website server scripting, animation, but also has boring and dull units like E-commerce. Even though I know this stuff will be partly useful in the future, it is dull to go through. Fortunately since I have got all my work done for most of my units, I don't have to go in Wednesday morning, so I can have another lie in, yay :D.

I better sign off now, maybe read for a bit before I go and dream the night away, but first, a song. Fear of The Dark is one of my favourite Iron Maiden songs. I was fortunate enough to be able to see them live last year and they were brilliant live, a lot better than most of the crap that is in the charts nowadays with their autotune.

Not much was played today. I got up pretty late and lazily played some Minecraft on the PC in the morning. Before the Formula 1 started I started up a rental that has been waiting for awhile, Transformers. First thought of the game is that it is pretty good and will be an easy 1000G. I'm enjoying it at the moment and was able to complete 2 chapters and get 225G in about 1 hour or play. Most of the afternoon and the evening I played Minecraft (again) on a server someone I know has recently put up for a community I'm a part of.

For a couple of hours I live streamed doing some random stuff on the server. Feels good to get back into live streaming a bit more, and hopefully I'll be casting more this next month. Some games will be more interesting to watch. I guess I can post a status when I go live if it is wanted.

I am currently watching the England game, and although I missed most of it since I was streaming, it is definitely a good and close game. It does seem we are quite lucky to get to extra time. Will have to see if it goes to penalties or not. I don't know whether I would be happier to lose in this good game and not get decimated by Germany, or to win and get to the semi finals for the first time in awhile.

The holiday I mentioned is a 3 week holiday to USA, yay. For about 8 days I will be in San Francisco, a place where I have wanted to visit for many years. On the Wednesday/Thursday I will be travelling up to Seattle and spending the weekend with 60000+ other interesting people at PAX Prime. I was fortunate to be able to get 2 3 day passes for myself and my dad. After that Ill probably be in Seattle for the week until I go back, although Vancouver would be a cool possibility for a couple of days. We only have the main flights booked and the hotel for PAX Prime booked, so plans could always change.

I think I will end the post today with some more music. I have to go into college for a bit tomorrow to hand in some work, even though I'm not in on Mondays. It is the last week so I am excited to get this course finished. This song is one of most from its album that is good music to get me awake and upbeat for the day. Will probably need it tomorrow :P

Basically I am off for summer fully next Friday, but since I have don't have much to do this next week I'll start this blog now. I would like to try and do a daily (or every other day) blog from around now till the 24th August, when I go on holiday for 3 weeks to USA. The blog will basically be me talking crap about random subjects as well as games / achievements I've won. Sounds quite common.

To start off before I talk about games, a little bit myself. My name is Tim. I live in Yorkshire, England (further east than Pigimus Prime though). I am currently 18. Mostly play on the 360 although I do play some games on the PC (like Minecraft). I also like bacon, gammon, ham, all the good stuff :D.

I guess I'll leave it at that for today. I'll go into a bit more detail about random stuff and the holiday later, hopefully. Now onto games.

My main goal for this summer is to get to 100,000G, from about the 86,550G it is at the moment of writing. I will still play stuff and try to write up a blog after this 100,000G until the holiday, although I'll definitely be playing more games I really enjoy (although I'll probably be doing this sometimes anyway).

TL;DR: Too many games. Some great games, some easy games.

I'll be trying to play / complete / 1000G many of these games. Some games I'll just be trying to complete the main story and some story stuff, while others like NBA 2K6, well.

Not much to say about todays games played. For the most part I chilled through the day playing Formula 1 on PC, mainly because F1 and some other racing was on the television today and I wanted to have it on in the background. It feels more refined and better than the previous year. The achievements look overall more easy, with no achievement for completing 7 seasons / winning 3 championships. Unlike F1 2010 you can make the races 3 laps long instead of 10%, which in most cases was a lot less than half of the laps, which made it easy to complete 1 season and net myself a nice 390G at a decent TA ratio this afternoon. I also played a bit of DiRT Showdown. Only got 25G but got quite a few events done, about half way through the tour already.
