Soooooo yeah! I have been absent a few days in my blog making and I apologize. Basically my internet went out for 2 days and I didn't download my walk through so I could not play Alice. Also I do not really like getting achievements when I am not online. I like seeing when I got achievements and they are only dated if you unlock them while online. Anyway enough of the excuses, on to the game play!

I did play a little bit on Friday, but only unlocked one achievement. i did not think my hour of play was really blog worthy so I waited till I played more today. I beat American McGee's Alice and unlocked these achievements:






The DLC was not that bad in my opinion. It was a nice trip down memory lane for me. Plus it's not all that hard if you remember to abuse the save system. I started chapter 3 and got a few achievements but did not have time to finish the chapter:





Hopefully i will get some more time to play tomorrow.

Project A-Z Info:
So by a huge majority of the votes looks like I will be playing Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Thanks everybody for voting and I seriously appreciate you guys picking an easy game! So the list stand at:

I do not want to plan the list to far ahead so D voting will begin when I start Blue Dragon. I figure doing the voting at the beginning of every new game will keep it simply and fair. Anyway thanks again for voting and i will catch you later!

Started the day off by playing the DLC for this game which is the original American McGee's Alice. I remember 1st playing this back in 2001 I believe, although my computer at the time could barely run it. Now I look at the graphics and laugh. Anyway I managed 2 achievements for that, but I am pretty close to a third:




I was only able to play the original until 11 though. I don't know how many people know this but if you don't own the DLC but you have somebody else's account information on your Xbox (in this case it would be my brothers), you can play their DLC as long as they are logged in on your console. My brother usually gets on around noon, so I figure if I log him out by 11 then he won't ever get pissed .

After lunch break and playing an hour of Resident Evil 5 with my son, I returned to beat Chapter 2. Damn these chapters are sooooo long! Anyway these are the achievements for that run:










Project A-Z Info:
Time to vote on a C game! These are what I currently own:

Call of Duty 2 (410/1000)
Call of Duty: Black Ops (30/1000) I will NOT do DLC for this game.
Catherine (370/1000)
Condemned 2: Bloodshot (0/1000)
Culdcept Saga (0/1000)

Also on friday if it's still on sale, I plan on getting Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Go ahead and vote for that one if you want.

I would honeslty prefer to keep the C game short, so please don't vote for Culdcept Saga! It's another 150 hour game and I don't know if I will have the stamina yet for that after Blue Dragon .

Welcome to Project A-Z! I am excited to get going on this, since it means getting 26 games completed! Woohoo! Anyway I have decided to title my blog Sue Grafton/Sesame Street style! That way you can tell what game I will be working on currently. I have made a few rules for myself to follow as I work through this project.

Rule #1: I can not move on to another game until the current game is completed.

Rule #2: I can not play any other game except for games I am working on with my son or wife or helping another friend.

Rule #3: If I complete an A-Z game that day I can not start my next game until I write my next blog. That way I will only be talking about playing one game at a time.

I will try my best not to break any of these rules through out the whole process. I figure they can keep me in line and on target. Here is the current list of games, I will add more when it gets decided on what I will play:

A: Alice Madness Returns
B: Blue Dragon
C: ???

Anyway I started Alice today and had fun playing through the first chapter. It was a lot longer then I expected for one chapter but there are plenty of checkpoints through out so not to worry. These are the achievo's that I managed to get on my first run:












Everyone should be able to grab all of those easily throughout the 1st chapter. The only ones I went out of my way for was Venting Frustration and Calm in the Face of Death. This game should take a few days to get all of them but there is no rush! Well I'm gonna go now, everybody have a good day!

Hell yeah! I did it! I finished my final run through this game. The funny thing is that this play through I only had a hard time with Tamiel. I passed all the other bosses on my first try. Then I got to watch the end scene and credits for the final time, waiting for this final achievement to pop and give me my hard earned 1000:



I have finally passed Star Ocean. It feels so good to be done with this game after spending so many hours on it. I want to thank a few people for the help and support they have provided! First off, I have to thank my wife. You have no idea how sick she is of me talking about Star Ocean . I am glad she put up with it and encouraged me to keep going at the times when I wanted to quit. Also I have to thank dertswa687o fo his excellent guide. It was an awesome road map to follow and I seriously recommend anyone who is going to play Star Ocean to check it out! http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=30... And finally I want to thank all of you who have been reading my blog and following my progress. It helped so much having the constant feedback and support from your comments.

I hope you guys stick around for Project A-Z that I will be starting in a couple days. I am probably going to rest for the rest of the day, maybe start up Condemned. I will continue to blog while I play, because I find I really enjoy it.

Finally to anyone who is planning on beating Star Ocean, I wish them good luck! It's a long grind and mind numbing at times but the satisfaction of beating it is epic. I want to give a special shout out to Dude Rain and iceyz. They are currently working on this game and getting those trophies done. Don't give up guys! Also I wonder who will beat it first?

I am Pip the Unholy and I beat Star Ocean!

Another day, another speed run. Started the day finishing off my Universe speed run. I had already passed all of the hard stuff and the rest was a piece of cake. Finishing time is 9:10, but that doesn't include the last battle plus the ending movie. I thought it might be a little harder beating Santanail but it was about the same as my first time. So I got this achievement:



Then I started my Chaos speed run and man they kick crap out of you! I died a lot till I got a steady healer. After that it has been OK, although I have been taking it a little slower. Actually fighting some battles here and there . I ended my day right before entering the Purgatorium. I am not looking forward the the Phantom Force ambushes again!

Project A-Z Info:
Looks like I will be doing Blue Dragon for my B Game. So before I start Project A-Z, I will beat Condemned. Then I will get started with:
A = Alice: Madness Returns
B = Blue Dragon

I don't want to plan to far ahead, so I will have voting on my C game after I finish Alice.
