We draw ever closer to the day that Borderlands 2 comes in. My excitement builds a little more each day! After Borderlands 2 comes out, there probably won't be too many more games that I will pick up this year. Well, aside from the collector's edition of Assassin's Creed III because that flag is wicked awesome.
I finally finished my first run on Normal through Darksiders 2. It's a great game. It could still use a few improvements, but you can tell that Vigil Games actually tried to improve the game (which they did). The RPG elements were much need in this game. I'll have my review posted up sometime tomorrow at TeamXbox.com.
One thing I learned about reviews is that sometimes they are easier to write AFTER the game has come out. I'm not complaining at all, but you can't talk too much about the storyline of a game for fear of ruining it for everyone else. But again, not complaining - it's just something to get used to

Well, my quest for the Top 10 in Tennessee has been a bit weird. I know that #1 in TN is impossible unless Stallion83 gives up after 1 million. But #2 was going to be doable. Well unfortunately, it is definately doable now because
jds78 got removed from the site. He sat about 250k ahead of me and it was going to be a challenge, but I wanted to see if I could do it. But now, #2 sits only about 90K ahead of me. So, while I hope jds78 gets added back to the site - it doesn't look good, I will continue my quest for #2!
I think I'll pass on the stats again this week. I still track them through a spreadsheet every week. I'm OCD, I know...
Aside from Borderlands 2, my next few reviews will be for Skylanders: Giants, Nascar: The Inside Line, & Fable: The Journey. I may get the new Sherlock Holmes game as well. I enjoyed the first one and this second one looks even better.
Speaking of Skylanders: Giants, I may get to do an interview with their developer. If there are any questions you all can think of that you'd want to ask them let me know and I'll throw it in there!
Until next week! Excelsior!
