Well folks, I managed to complete Ryse before my son was due to be born. Seriously impressed with myself. Mainly because its not only the first time I have ever done any online level/rank up achievements to the end. But its now the game that I've scored the most gamer score on ever, with 1750g. Beating the 1655g of Fallout New Vegas I did earlier this year by 95g.

Once I passed rank 100, I flew through it. Better gear for your gladiator helps loads. In 2 days, I went from rank 76-200. Did have 2 randoms that were invaluable. First one, we lasted 43 minutes, and I earned 690,000 XP. The last one was last night, and he kept me safe during my combo streak of 494 hits, and I earned enough XP from that to pop the last achievement during the match.

So now it is my 6th Xbox One completion, and I am proud of it for both reasons mentioned.

I also completed Walking Dead Season 2 just before it. So great night for gaming.

Next up, I plan to start Thief. I do have some grinding left to do on Crimson Dragon, which I will do. Only the Overachiever achievement will tax my patience and skills. Plus Forza 5 will need some work. Hope I have the patience for it.

Decided I will grab Stick it to the Man. Been informed that its an easy 1000g and only needs a few hours. Then there is Super Time Force coming in September and that does look a reasonably easy 1000g. Then all being well, Minecraft drops, and yet another easy 1000g coming my way. So September could well push me close to 40,000g. If I don't, it will be bloody close.

I'll start off with the joyous news. I will be a dad once again in the next 2-3 weeks. Fiona is considered full term now. So it will be very soon. Only been with the missus just over 3 years and we will have our second child very soon.

Now, onto the gaming. First up is Ryse. I have had issues with finding someone with the dlc to boost online rank achievements. So I have been boosting with randoms until HateMe4141 gets the dlc soon, and the last two days have seen some great randoms. Last night saw me last 28 minutes and rack up over 350,000 XP. Gained 7 ranks in just one round. Currently rank 76, and rising fast. My goal for Ryse was to get the 1750g before the end of the year. Only need 180g and I can see that happening now.

Thief next. Bought this yesterday, and despite the mostly negative opinions, I reckon I will enjoy the game. I love stealth games, and will see about starting this when I finish Ryse. Can't afford to be too picky with buying new games, as the ones I do want are outside my price range for now.

I honestly think I have got all the achievements I can from FIFA and 670g ain't too shabby. Gucamelee will require a bit of effort, especially with the challenge mode. Halo is a game that I can't play for too long as it bores me. Crimson Dragon needs a bit of a grind, and some luck. Pinball FX will require a whole Lotta luck and skills to get any more achievements, but it is a lot of fun, and one game I will keep trying. Strike Suit will get a play through at some point.

Once again, I organise an online session for achievements and get let down. Happened with Fifa 14 not long ago. Then yesterday, it happened in Ryse. Even said when I created the session, that I wanted no time wasters. Then someone joined and then left a few hours later. Because they had something to do. Poor excuse if I'm honest. I have had so many offers for help, but no one is ever online to do the Survival rank boost for Ryse.

Getting fed up of people on TA being let down, and XBA is even worse. Thinking I will just leave online achievements from now on, as no one is reliable. Thankfully, Ryse still has a lot of high ranking people still play it, so I reckon I'll just play with randoms and attempt to reach level 200 that way.

On a more positive note, I finished my Legendary run on Ryse, and just have the online, and have 1530g. So not a million miles away from completing Ryse.

Pinball FX 2 is now available. Given that I cannot be bothered being a completionist anymore, I thought I would grab it as its free. So far, 300/1420g. A much better score than I had hoped or thought I would get. Gargoyle Quest achievement unlocked last night for 669 TA points. My best achievement so far.

My achievement streak is currently 101 days and 603 achievements. Wondering now, how far can I take it.

Not much else going on, but only a few more weeks until I'm a dad again. More nappy changes ahoy. Anyway, peace out.

I have got back into Ryse tonight, and managed to complete another level on Legendary. Took me a while to get used to the controls, as I've not played in almost a month. But only 3 more levels and all the SP will be done.

I mostly have rank related achievements left to do for the MP portion of what's left. But waiting to find someone to play with is a bloody nightmare. So if you read this, have the game, and are preferably in the UK, can game from 7pm onwards for a few hours, then hit me up on XBL. I want to get the 1750g before the end of the year. Little goal of mine that I have set myself. Just a pain that I need to rely on someone else.

Aside from that, its been another good month for gaming.

Shuffle Party 50g. Completed this in a day on WP.

Wildenstein 1000g. Took 2 weeks from when I started as there was problems with achievements unlocking. But one hell of an amazing game.

Crimson Dragon 1275g. Almost there, and just 3 achievements left to unlock. Not the greatest game ever, but certainly not the worst. Easy achievements though.

Also been very close to completing Wordament, just 10g left on that. Working my way through Little Acorns on WP, as well as Breeze.

Still got a bunch of games on my HDD to keep me going, as and when I can be bothered playing them. Thinking of lending a few easy 1000g games off my stepson to boost my score. Lego Harry Potter 2 and Prototype 2 will be easy enough to complete. Although time will be a major factor.

Lastly, I am on a 96 day achievement streak. So not long until I can reach 100 days.

Yes, it's a miracle. No, not Jesus walking on water again like a right show off. But it seems that the achievement system has fixed itself. Late last night, 8 achievements for 240g showed as unlocked for me after I did a profile scan here on TA.

It is also being reported over on xboxachievements.com as well. So it does seem like its across the board. Which means a lot of happy gamers are about. Including myself. So now I can continue working on Crimson Dragon, and break the 1000g mark later today, and get properly stuck in to Wolfenstein finally. The last week has really tested the patience of those who own an Xbox One.

So if you are owed achievements on your One, they should have popped by now. The real test comes in finding out if new ones will pop as well.

Did complete Shuffle Party on WP during the wait. Also have Little Acorns, Roll in the Hole and Breeze to play on WP too.

My achievement streak is currently 87 days and 501 achievements. Closing in on 100 days. Just shy of 2 weeks to reach that, and I am confident I can make that happen.
