End of the linePermalink
Been another long time since I wrote on here. Doubt anyone still read this, but I've come to a decision.

I've had a lot disrupt my life over the past few years, and gaming wasn't quite the crutch I was hoping it to be, in fact, it did become quite the opposite. I have struggled mentally, and having an addictive personality doesn't really help when it came to my Xbox. There are games I love playing, but I became far too focused on Achievements again. Even when playing just for fun, that side of me seeing incomplete games started to cause more stress due to not getting them. And I ended up grinding some horrid stuff just for that completion percentage.

Again, I did have fun with it, but like any addiction it gnawed away at me and caused extra anxiety. So, once I've got my moneys worth from Mass Effect 3, and finished the story on Andromeda, I'm hanging up the controllers, and closing my Xbox account down. It's not all doom and gloom, I've made some great friends on here, some I still talk to, and some who have faded away because, well, life!

From my Freak Nation compadre's (Ingeous Darkside, SebVin and Kovy88), to a few who have had insight to my actual life via Facebook (MalibuStacey85, Jedi Pirate Oni, BigEll, LIL Miss Cherry) and a few other who I have gamed and spoken with before who have since retired from this.

I am doing this not only for the addiction purpose, but also because I have had some new interests, and gaming is starting to take a back seat, with lack of new releases that interest me, and what seems like the endless recycling of remastered and HD upgrades being released, I feel this is a good time to back out.

So, to everyone who I have gamed with, joined boosting sessions with, had endless amounts of co-op fun, made friends with... We've played some awesome games, we've trudged through some shit, and we've had a few laughs along the way, but I feel now is where I'm going to settle, and wish you all the best going forwards, and much enjoyment from your hobby in the future.

Peace.
