At some point over the weekend I saw the trailer for then new Judge Dredd move starring Karl Urban. Have you seen it? I'm anxious to see it since I think that it will be so much better than the Arnie version (sorry Arnie, you were better in Predator!). Anyway, I was over at Wikipedia looking up Urban, who I forgot had portrayed Dr. McCoy in the new Star Trek movie. Of course I ended up reading about the "He's Dead Jim" line and I find it interesting how pervasive a show can be on pop culture and the source of a blog title

Well, since the demise of our team back at the end of March, I've been working quite a bit and if you read Rotor's blog today, I've been in cahoots with his team to surprise him for his birthday by going to Medieval Times...However, I have been playing some video games and earning some achievements, leading to a couple of milestones, which are always welcome!
I did a final push to hit 40K gamerscore by playing NCIS and Avatar. NCIS actually wasn't all that bad, better than the CSI games, both with mechanics and character development (don't get too excited, it was a minimum effort at best). And, in the end, all the cases fit together into an explosive climax
Avatar was a total fluke because when Rotor and I were out and about, we stopped at a random Gamestop and came across a fairly pristine copy of the game - a rarity actually. Yeah, I pimped myself and played it, all for the points towards my goal and for a little competition a few of us are in. Enough said about that game.
With Rotor playing Dark Sector, I decided to reach back into my older games started but not completed and came up with Time Shift. Got through Act One and well on my way through the second. I have most of the multiplayer done, but always looking to boost the remaining ones -- looking at you ShotgunBilly555, or any of my other friends who want to spend some quality hours with moi
Also, playing Skylanders to finish it up before returning to LOTR: War in the North. Now, I liked LOTR: WITN game on the first three playthroughs, but I'm on my sixth playthrough due a glitch and I'm not feeling the love anymore. I just want to GET 'ER DONE! But, every time I look at playing it, I feel such adversion -- I know I need to get back on the field and play it, so maybe just a little more distance of time is needed....We'll see.
I wanted to add photos, like of the Blue Knight from Medieval Times -- the guy that Rotor was willing to give me up to if he won the tournament battle, but I couldn't get Instagram to cynic online and the photo bucket, I've managed to misplace the logon and password -- some days it's an uphill battle!
Anyway, my ramblings before my lunch break is over. Hope you are having a good Monday! Enjoy your week! Comments welcome, or if you just want to say hi
