As you may or may not know, I really love
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It was far and away my favorite game of 2011 and the release of "Dawnguard" gave me the excuse to jump back into it.
With it being one of the hottest summers on record (thus far), I spent my holiday week in Skyrim, going so far as to say that
Skyrim is the video game equivalent of biting into a York Peppermint Patty. It just takes you away to somewhere
cooler.
That being said, there's one achievement in "Dawnguard" that has me a bit peaved:
The reason this has me upset is that, according to all solutions, Legendary Dragons don't show up until your character is at least Level 78. Currently, my "advanced character" (and I have three), is at Level 61 and basically has god-like powers. Needless to say, I'm in for a grind.
The worst part about this grind is that I think I've done almost all of the "main" storyline quests (again, spread across my three characters), my current equipment set is (again) god-like, and it's basically becoming "un-fun" to roll in like one of the horsemen of the apocalypse.
Nevertheless, I'm going to be grinding the frozen tundra for quite a while.
In Other NewsMy Bean Dive is going to be quite pathetic, as I only have two, unstarted games in my backlog:
RAGE and

This is highly unusual for me, as I used to purchase a lot of the previous fall's releases for play during the summer wastes, but haven't seen any deals that really knocked me over on games that I want to play. I'll be keeping my eye on
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings,

Syndicate, but with several games already locked into my fall (
Dishonored,
Borderlands 2, and
Halo 4), I don't know if I'll have the time/money to squeeze much more in.
