Gaming has evolved. There are no arguments there, right?
Gaming has gone from something to do on the weekend to people deicating thier very lives to it. I love video games and have fun playing them. Well having fun can be a matter of how I'm doing in a given day. When I play Swat on Reach I usually pend to have a good time, unless I just don't get a single kill, which sucks. But 90% of the time I can play Reach online and have a fun time. My friend and I play Reach when we usually have free time (which we have alot of) and I notice that sometime he and I get annoyed when we play and there are these "players" who find ways to kill you in ways that piss us off. For example: Plasma sword need to stay in infection where they belong. Not in Slayer DMR's. Which is why we usually play Swat in the first place. Pretty small pet peeve right? But almost all my gaming experiences lately have been pretty different from my Dreamcast/Nitendo days. Things have changed. When I first got on the site (which wasn't long ago) I just quickly wrote some easy to read reviews. But I was greeted with negativity and I got some pretty angry messages when I tried to explain my predicament. Going into the site with a light attitude I didn't exactly feel welcome Like I did on my other review sites. Then I deleted my reviews and rewrote them. Then they were long and disecting the game in it's entirety. Well except in Halo Reach. I left out Forge 2.0!! How could I?? Oh well. Never been a Forge guy, more of a PC thing.

As the industry grows, it's only going to get more and more dedicated fans. So you can bet that when me and my friend play Reach on line there is some serious bullshit. And i'm not complaining everytime I die (which people do). I just don't like it when I go into rumble pit and somebody has a Killing Spree using a Gravity Hammer or a Sword. It's okay to use the weapons, just not in the same room for the entirety of the match. It seems a bit "unsportsmanlike". Not a big deal right? I can barely get a three Kill Streak on Black Ops. It's me right? I'm just not good enough to play that game. Is that really how the game was made? It's not the game, but the ones who play it. How about the world? Is the world bad? Nope, just the people who live in it. Keep thinking for yourself.
