I have just bought my first Turbo controller and I thought I should put it to good use. Ive done a quick search and I have listed all of the achievements which I am missing that I can turbo boost. However ill probably add to this as I come across new games and achievements.

It would appear that some people do not realise that for idle boosting you still need to rubber band the button which you intend on turbo’ing.
Also some people are having difficulty understanding how to program the controller – I have to admit, it has taken me a while to fully understand the different program settings and the RAPID FIRE setting. So I have decided to list a guide on how to controller features work. If I have listed something which you think is incorrect – please let me know.
- The
is automatically programmer to turbo if you press ‘Button 2’.
- You can only turbo the following buttons:
,
,
,
,
,
,
and
.
- To turbo a button, you press and hold ‘Button 2’ and then you press the button(s) that you would like to turbo. You can turbo multiple buttons, but I have not tested how many buttons can be turbo’ed.
- By pressing ‘Button 1’ you will de-activate the turbo feature and any turbo’ed buttons. Following this, by pressing ‘Button 2’ you will re-activate the programmed buttons.
- Once you have activated the turbo feature with ‘Button 2’, you can set the RAPID FIRE speed of the turbo’ed buttons by pressing ‘Button 2’ again.
- There are 3 different RAPID FIRE setting; the lights in each of the handgrips will indicate this:
x1 press = both handgrips are lit up.
x2 press = the right handgrip is lit up.
x3 press = the left handgrip is lit up.
Ill give an update on how I boosted each game and achievement as I go along. If you decide to boost these games as well, I hope this helps you.

TimeShiftThis one was very easy. All you need is 1 boosting partner. The best way was to load up a One-on-One player match and apply a saved presetting which included instant kill, auto start game, no re-spawn invincibility, KM 2103 Karbine etc… things which just helped speed up the process.
Invite your boosting partner into a game for 1 kill to win and let the following play out.
The looser – turbo and rubber band the

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark AthenaJust to add to the guides on the following links - if your turbo'ing the these achievements, you need to program the
and rubber band it. The matches auto start after 30secs but for some reason, nothing will happen if you just rubber band the trigger down - it needs to be trubo'ed.
Brütal LegendAfter following the match set up on the achievement guide - taking over the holes which give you fans and placing a flag beside the worm thing, you need to do the following:
- Turbo

- Double team your stage - I think this give you extra fans.
- Rubber band
to activate the 'buy' wheel.
- Rubber band
to point to the Nuns.
- Then rubber band
which will continuously buy the Nuns when you have enough fans.
Scene It? Box Office Smash!For this one, you have to turbo and rubber band both

in order to get past the "buzz in" segments. As
as been turbo'ed, you will have a 1 on 4 chance of getting the correct answer.
After loading up this game, I had forgotten how much I loved playing this game and my wife and I sat down for a good 2 hour session of movie trivia!
So in actual fact, I didnt really turbo the following short list as they eventually came natural.
Please note, for the online achievements, it will only work using the method were the looser quits out leaving the winner to complete the quiz and take the win. So in order to boost this game you will have to set up an online session.
After many-many-many games of idle boosting and 3 days later, I had to admit defeat on the western achievement. This luck based achievement (luck = if the questions appear in the game or not!) glitched out on me on my 1st save file – I definitely answered more than 15 western questions correctly. Then on my 2nd save file – after 3 hours of playing, I only came across 14 questions. Something’s just aren’t meant to happen!
Scene It? Lights, Camera, ActionAs my experience from the BOS! game left a very sour taste in mouth; I decided not to waste the weekend playing the LCA! game on loop. So after a few hours of playing for fun, I was able to get the following 2 achievements.
As I had very few 60’s questions appear and no documentary questions appear, I decided to save my sanity and move on to the next game! Also, I didnt want to waste my time on an achievement which may have glitched out on me!
All-in-all, I would not advise boosting the Scene It! games as a good guide will help you get any sticky achievements in 1 night and the % ratio of the correct genre question appearing and the correct answer being behind button
really goes against any realistic chance of idle boosting it.
On a side note – I don’t think you can actually boost this one. As you need to press
to get past the "buzz in" segments on your controller and I don’t think you can change the "buzz in" to
and you cannot turbo the
button.
Texas Hold'emSo I’ve been idle boosting this one on and off for a while now and I just recently popped the play 1,000 hands achievement.
However when checking my stats, I realised I still need to get a Royal Flush and a Straight Flush for the following achievement.
So I did a bit of research and some people have played 40,000 hands before getting this achievement. So I decided to give this one a miss as I hate these luck based achievements – either you are luckly enough to get the hand or your not! You can blame
Scene It? Box Office Smash! for these feelings!
LipsSo in order to successfully boost this game, you will have to do a bit of preparation. You will need:
- A turbo controller and a rubber band.
- A wired mic.
- A set of headphones - the type which has the padding that goes around your ears and not the ones which fit inside your ears as this type will not work.
- Download the MP3 file which contains 38 minutes of static noise. See details below.
- Burn the MP3 to a CD on your PC.
- Rip the MP3 CD to your xbox 360 HD.
- Then place the MP3 CD into your Hi-Fi (or other music playing device).

To set up the console up for idle boosting the star power achievements, just follow this bullet point list:
- Load up the game - whichever game disc you like, then go into FreeStyle mode and load up the MP3 which you ripped to the 360 HD.
- Play the CD in your Hi-Fi - make sure you loop the track continuously and plug your headphones in. The last thing you want is this noise roaring out your speakers all night.
- Turbo the
button and rubber band it.
All you have to do now is go to bed as the star power will rack up at an unbelievable rate. In the 38 minute tack, you will get about 9,000 stars. Easy gamerscore! After playing 10 Freestyle songs of the static MP3 you will unlock the following achievement.
Then after 200,000 stars you will unlock the following:
The Star Struck achievement in Lips worth 201 pointsGain 150,000 total stars
The Superstar! achievement in Lips worth 169 pointsGained 100,000 total starsIn order to make sure you play every Party Classics song, just make a playlist of the 40 songs. However, instead of playing the static MP3, you play the song from the game directly into the mic via the headphones on the TV. Once you turbo
on the playlist and the song has played, it will automatically move on to the next song and play it. By doing this, you will pop these 2 achievements.
The Party Monster achievement in Lips worth 92 pointsScore points in all 40 Lips Party Classics songs
The Party Animal achievement in Lips worth 45 pointsScore points in 20 or more Lips Party Classics songsDo the same as above to play every song from the I Love the 80s disc for this one.
To boost the remaining 1,500 medals, you do the exact same as above, however you play 'Unchained Melody' from the Party Classics game. If you select this song by itself and turbo and rubber band
, it will play the song on loop. By doing this I was able to get 4 medals each time the song played and after a few nights, you will pop the following:
The Medal Rush achievement in Lips worth 95 pointsEarn 1,000 total medalsYou should also pop the achievements for 30 of each of the following medal types along the way.
The Technician achievement in Lips worth 57 pointsAwarded 30 Technique medals
The Like A Rock achievement in Lips worth 55 pointsAwarded 30 Stability medals
The Ham Star achievement in Lips worth 47 pointsAwarded 30 Performance medalsThis one is easy to do. After a song has played, you can save your performance. Save 3 different songs, then go back to the 'pick a song screen' select the song you saved the performance on and play the performance. you don’t need to play the full song - you can load it up, play a few seconds and quit out.
The Recording Artist achievement in Lips worth 60 pointsRecord and view three songs with Performance RecordingI was also able to get the achievement for having 100 of each medals type and 50,000 stars. You may need to go back and play some songs for the Party medals (using the noise maker) and the Performance medals (the microphone gestures) for this one.
Games still to start… at some stage… Kameo: Elements of PowerSelect Time Attack, choose Thorn's Airship, then turbo A and hover away. The level ends in 60 seconds and both players need to press A to start another match.
Prison Break: The ConspiracyFor all of these you just need to enter an Underground fight with Soda Pop and turbo A and Y. Obviously you need to be on Shark difficulty.
Red Faction: GuerrillaGo into Team Anarchy and just turbo the Y button, make sure its Team Anarchy and not any game, because you can't win solo games by idling, and most people play Team Anarchy...leave it be. You have a 50 percent chance of winning the match, so just idle. I got about 60 wins in two solid days of auto boosting.
Scene It? Bright Lights! Big Screen!Ive just bought this one... so ill up date the list as I get looking into it.
