So today I've been locked up in a room with no internet access for 6 hours and had to find something to do. Prior to being locked up I downloaded all of my matchups for the competition and have gathered some stats. So for all of you stats nerds out there, here we go.
After 7 weeks of competition I was assigned 140 achievements. 139 of them were unique. I was given
twice. After I was unable (unwilling) to do it the first time I got it. Or the second time
Out of those 140 achievements I obtained 120 of them. The remaining 18 I missed and the reasons why were.
Just ran out of time the week this one was assigned. Didn't want to rush through the game, and so left it out.
Tried for hours on the Firefight, never got anywhere close, the Engineers really make this one a pain. Tried to get a buddy to help out, and he's only about an hours drive from my place, but the Halo lag was ridiculous, we'd have seconds where we couldn't move or shoot.
Not sure what it is with Happy Wars, but being in Australia I can't seem to find any matches.
Had no idea what I was doing with this game. And couldnt' find a friend that could help out in time.
I just suck at this game, and couldn't be bothered getting any better.
Tried until I had a sore thumb
Had only bean dived this game and didn't have the time to go all the way through it.
Only have the war room mission to go. Spent hours trying to get there in time.
I suck at Dark Souls
The Scavenger Hunt achievement in BioShock Infinite worth 275 pointsComplete the Main Campaign in 1999 mode without buying anything from a Dollar Bill vending machine. The Collector's Edition achievement in Alan Wake worth 172 pointsFind all of the manuscript pages in the game, including the ones in Nightmare mode. These all came in the same week, not time for them.
Got to 30 something then worked out I didn't need to do it to win the week.
Now for the stuff that I did get.
120 out of 140 achievements.
Lowest ratio
Highest ratio
The average ratio of all achievements assigned to me was 2.28
The median ratio of all achievements assigned to me was 1.68
A small number of really high ratios raised the average by a significant amount.
For the competition I unlocked 120 achievements for 2,375 gamerscore, 5,831 TA score, ratio of 2.46
In addition I unlocked 226 other achievements on the way to the target achievements for 4,140 gamerscore, 7,785 TA score, ratio of 1.88
The combined total is 346 achievements for 6.515 gamerscore, 13,616 TA score, ratio of 2.09
76 unique games were played across the 7 weeks, with 41 of those games only having 1 achievement assigned. The rest had up to 5 achievements.
Finally the most successful and most popular game was
Dead Rising 2 (Xbox 360) Achievementswith 5 achievements assigned across 5 different weeks, and all 5 obtained.
The least successful game was
Dark Souls Achievementswith 5 achievements assigned across 4 different weeks and only 1 obtained.
