Halo 2 was a brilliant game for the original Xbox and when it was released for PC I had to go and buy it, it uses the new Games For Windows LIVE which uses the same network as Xbox LIVE. although you share the same identity as your Xbox LIVE profile, you can communicate to those who are on an Xbox, Halo 2 PC does not include the cross-platform features. The game ha been reworked graphically for the PC, including high-resolution textures and support for very high resolution which makes the game play a better experience. Halo 2 was a very good game on the original Xbox, they removed such features such as co-operative play which mad Halo fun to play with others.While the single player campaign does not differ from the Xbox version, if the player has a gamertag for Live. They change the aspect ratio so you could finally play in wide-screen. it does include 2 exclusive maps for multiplayer but it does not include 2 maps from the Halo 2 Xbox version.
The sound the wonderful, what you would expect from a Halo game, it includes all the original masterpieces from the Xbox version of the game,
Although the graphics are very dated, they are very good despite this being a port they far exceed those of the Xbox version of the game, including the new 16:9 aspect ratio so you can enjoy your Halo in beautiful wide-screen.
