This game has a lot going for it - unique, easy 1000, surprisingly fun and definitely going cheap by this point. Unless you hate aerial combat, owls or B-games in general you might want to give this game your consideration.

Gameplay
It's a flight game where you play as an owl - pressing RT repeatedly to flap your wings, flying close enough to your enemies to hit X or Y and do a homing melee dash. There's barrel rolls, 'wing'men (giggle), even simple armor upgrades as you progress. The enemies are varied, bats owls and stranger flying things with different attacks and immunities. Missions include pure combat, protection missions, rescue missions, canyon chases and races. There's a surprising amount here for anyone expecting a horrible movie tie-in.

Graphics/Sound
The models are respectable, and the animations really shine, watching your owl fly around and karate chop things in the air looks awfully realistic. Nothing to say about the sound - it never hurts your ears.

Story
Never having seen the movie or books, the plot still manages to be coherent, if not particularly riveting. At the least it doesn't do anything to detract from the game, and it's skippable for those who don't care about why the owls are fighting. Some of the overarching story cinematics are done with motion edited concept art that looks like a pretty cool owl comic book, that I rather looked forward to seeing.

Achievements
There's a bunch of achievements, but they all boil down to playing through the game 4 times, and doing all the side missions during one of those playthroughs. Not hard at all, though mildly annoying to have to do more than 2 playthroughs.

Overall
I give it a 3/5 overall, 4/5 if you're an achievement hunter and found it at a really low price. It's a solid game, I doubt you've seen something like it before, easy points... what's not to like?
