PES 2011 will be compared to Fifa 11 as all of the other previous iterations of the game have. The major difference with these to games is that PES has lost it's identity, instead of being the more fast paced arcade style football game it has tried to become more realistic with the new weighted pass system and this means it simply can't compete with fifa in realism levels as it simply isn't as good as it lacks the licences for the majority of the teams. With Fifa stepping it up with feature like pro clubs and ultimate PES feels bare in comparison. There are also a number of niggly things such as the fact it automatically kicks off for you. If you want a football game buy Fifa 11 if you have an aversion to fifa games buy PES 2010 or PES 6 as there is no reason for anyone to buy this game. This is coming from something of a PES fanboy who owns PES games going back to the days when it was ISS Pro and with previous instalments I could always argue it was better than or as good as the Fifa game particulary Fifa 07 which was dreadful. So unfortunately this time I have no argument and simply can't recommend this game.
