EYEHUNTER 42 has registered their disagreement about the genres applied to this game
Significant simulation/management as well. Most of the game is managing a town.

Technically not, you only move and build things. Saying this is Simulation management would make Battle Islands, Age of empires, Battle Ages, Dragon mania Legends and every game like those under the same Genre.

If I played it I would tell you why but I haven't played that one. It might have some more simulation qualities than just building and moving things. But if you are right and this is considered a Simulation that I believe all games like this as I said the the other post fall under the same Genre. The only difference this game has that's different from them is that you use Energy to build them by tapping a little hammer.

Definately not simulation...kingdom for kelflings shouldnt be either..unless a "gullivers travel simulator" is a thing now

And personally i feel that management is not deep enough to actually "earn" the game the genre.

I dont actually know what the sites definition of management is...but to me this is not it. you dont really manage anything. the game tells you what to build through missions, and you have very few buildings available to build at any time. A game like imperia online is management, this game is not

On the other hand, its very lacking aswell in the strategy department. So it could be one of those games where you just throw some tags on, just because it has a single element or two from there.

Construction would be nice for games like this but at the moment they are hard to place and some of it comes down to opinion. While it is a very loose fit I think Simulation is probably the best thing for it as you simulate constructing a kingdom.

I agree with Clown, the economy aspects seem to be a rudimentary simulation. Not the best fit in the world, but accurate enough to comply with our existing site definition I believe.

Doesn't that mean all Strategy building games like this fall under Simulation? Not that I care to follow Sim leaderboard but I just want Genres to be accurate.
