It was a good shooter, no doubt. Still probably in the minority who thought it wasn't as 'Amazing' as everyone said it was. Alas, still have to do the DLC.
From what I played in the DLC, I felt like the base game was the best part. I loved every bit of it and the ending was a great mind fuck.

People (at least the ones I talked to at that time) made it out to be this perfect game. But boiled down it is a shooter with beautiful visuals and an intriguing story.
I did really enjoy the game, beat it in one day 12 hours straight of playing. But the above can be said about a lot of games. haha.
This game has fantastic music, visuals, action (fighting) story, characters, I felt like it was just as great as Bioshock 1 which was also fantastic.
Im sure it was a little over hyped, but its still one of the best games ever imo, it lived up to the Bioshock name, easily, something that makes this game unique
that you are missing, is its a flying city in the fucking sky. What other game has that? I mean seriously. This game is in its own league.
Just like how Rapture is the only city under water, I wish other games would do that because I would buy them day 1, underwater city is badass.
Not denying that it was a unique game, or good story. I thoroughly enjoyed playing it, messing around with the different vigors was great. I'm just saying in my personal
opinion, it wasn't as good as it is made out to be. That's just me though. Never being a very big Bioshock player either didn't help it in my eyes.
Thats probably why, the first group of people who started the game loved the other Bioshocks (at least most people). It was just as good as the other Bioshocks
so it blew up because they did so well on making this Bioshock and sticking to it. You can see why it was "over hyped" for some people. I am waiting to hear of another
Bioshock, I will always stick to this series as long as it is continued.
The DLC awesomely wrapped up the entire series.
Infinite was m assively overrated IMO - I was very disappointed, as shooters go it was great yes, but compared to Bioshock 1 it utterly sucked balls - they removed all of
my favourite elements, like the traps, telekinesis (do you realise how fucking awesome telekinesis was?), the bot and turret hacking, and the Little Sisters - also I
thought the ending was a boring cliche that didn't even work, it was full of contradictions and it didn't make sense that they had more advanced weapons than Rapture
set 50 years before, ala Star Wars bullshit - it was a shame really - a good shooter but don't expect Bioshock quality again.
I am selling my discs to the suckers who will buy them and get the free ones from GwG lol.
Gameplay was merely okay but if you don't think the storyline was genius then you either weren't paying attention or you're incapable of critical thinking.
DEEVIUS, the technology of Columbia was acquired through observation of future scientists via trans-dimensional tears. They mention it the game multiple times. Wow.
I mean, hell, the vigors in Infinite were made by Fink after observing Suchong's work with ADAM. Also, Rapture and Columbia exist in different timelines, so it's
not really accurate to say "set 50 years before."
Indeed, that game was fantastic for the story and visuals. Of course, the gameplay wasn't fantastic, but that's not the point of this game.
Wolf, I gotta say, you have a lot of pessimistic, impossible-to-please people on your posts lol. You could name any game and they would show up to trash it.
Been wanting to play it, but never wanted to pay the mere £5...it has all the characteristics of a fantastic game.
I totally agree! Next months games are gonna be awesome! Also, we get 6 games in april, ridiculous!
@Almighty jei - I wasn't questioning the justification of the advanced tech in Infinite, I was slamming how implausible and contradictory it was. It was a bad decision
the whole timelines cliche was just a very dull-minded excuse to allow anything to occur without consequences or contradictions - very sloppy and lazy writing, when they
could have made the game so much better
people just love to rant on your posts lol
I saw that earlier today, freakin awesome!
This is one of the coolest things I've watched!

My brother showed it to me and I definitely thought it was badass!
Frickin awesome,I actually want more!
A lot of people want more lol, but that will most likely not happen since the owners of Power Ranger rights don't even like it and are trying to shut the video down for
Yeah, they're bringing out a reboot in 2016 but I bet it ain't a patch on this.
I saw it last night, effing badass!

"Man that leaves a solid 9 hours for gaming."
"What about sleep?" Hahaha these 2 comments seriously made my night lol.
Welcome to my world... Apart from mine is only one job... I tend to do anywhere between 15 - 20 hours a day, pay is awesome no time, not so much :(
Omg 66 hours ? Good luck buddy :(
Story of my life. Working ridiculous hours and seeing my backlog grow. :(
Dude, I'd be happy to have just one job, let alone two
Be rid of your brony con' and maybe that possibility will arise...
Yeah, thats why I teach, fuck working more then 40 hours a week and working summers! Gamerscore is essential to life!
wait till you have kids, gaming time is over
I know the feeling, i usually work 60-70 hours a week but only have one job lol. But the overtime pay is nice!
Been there. Working 2 jobs full time was so exhausting.
I have a 4 year old daughter. I work 15 hours a week (I make 35 an hour) and go to school for 12 hours a semester. I only sleep 4 hours a day so i can game more.
Once I finish my degree and build my client base for my business, I wil, hopefully get to work less. I hate working, you cant get gamerscore. TIME OVER MONEY!
the trick is make more money and work less, I work full time salary and I do 35 hours a week. never more.
If only I could get a high paying job and not have to work much and game all the time. I don't see that happening though.
Welcome to the internet; the land of whiny manbabies.
