$499 was the price for the high end xbox at the start of last gen. $599 was a joke for PS3... Imagine if MS announced X1 as $599. It would be over without a doubt.

Yes, Sony has an extremely restrictive DRM on Vita - Proprietary Format and low Sales (It really is a nice machine, just supported like shit)

Just ordered my PS4. MS shit the bed compared to Sony yesterday. I hate to leave the gamerscore ecosystem, but it's not even close.

Sony will still have DRM, just leaving it up to third-party publishers (just as MS is). Difference is: Sony won't involve licenses and MS does.

@DJP519. I bring my cellular hotspot everywhere I go (with a booster)... I am always able to be online. I know not everyone can afford it but it works for me.

No used game support = no new console....or at least until some games hit the cheap bins. No preorder for me either.
