Backwards compatibility and the lack of used games thingy (is that rumor) make this not a guarantee buy for me.

Still a few questions to be answered but defo a day 1 for me. Looking forward to getting a look at all these new exclusives.

I see pros and cons but you don't see me screaming my head off. I'll reserve judgement until it comes out. Staying cautiously optimistic.

Don't understand why they are using CoD as the Vanguard of the new Xbox. CoD peaked at MW2 years ago. Bungie's latest project would have been more appropriate.

Bungie is either is releasing on both platforms, as is CoD. The reason they had CoD up is because it is the biggest franchise in the world right now and they made a deal

that gives them early access to new content for CoD. That alone is MONUMENTAL in winning the console wars because every idiot who only plays CoD has no incentive to buy

the PS4 over the Xbox if the Xbox is getting content sooner. The same can be said about people who only play sports games, of which there are a lot of. Hardcore games are

still the minority.

It has nothing to do age, its the fact that these systems (ps4 and xbox one (still hate the name but at the same time smart strategy)) were once called gaming

systems and now they are called household systems. I for one buy a console only for gaming as I have a PC for any other service they have.

The Xbox One also didn't really showcase anything major just new partnerships, the only thing big and unexpected was the Halo show they're making everything

else was pretty evident to be showcased, but of course its xbox being safe to lay the fire for e3

Well, for me, it's about the games. watching movies and looking at youtube I can do elsewhere easier (imo) than on Xbox. I can watch Crunchyroll on my PC as easy as on...

But that's because we are growing in a technological aspect and most people now WANT, movies, sports, and games all rolled into one. I am gonna love the ability to record

Xbox. I won't be buying the Xbox One to watch Netflix or Facebook or some other gimmik. I will get it for the games.

But, I won't get it for about a year or so after launch. There are always bugs that need to be ironed out and I am tired of paying companies...

Some of us want movies but as we have a PC that plays them that can be projected onto a tv already by changing a cable makes little sense to me imho.

I don't like how there's a fee if you install it to the HDD and don't put the disc in.

There's only a fee for used games to be installed on the HDD so that you can't just go around installing the game on every Xbox. Should be able to play from disc.

You know I'm pumped buddy! Large scale MP so Battlefield can be done right now. Behind the scenes processing which could potentially eliminate load times in games.

Tons of new dev tools to make games so much better. Recording games at any time to show friends. There is so much goodness here.

Problem with TA is it gives people the sense that achievements are a big deal because all you see here is the people invested in them. It is easy for them to forget that

they are a niche market and gaming innovation will never be done with them in mind so they are always going to be unhappy when that is all they really game for.

They keep pushing the use of internet, Skype, etc. I and most other people have a proper device for that i.e laptop or iPad, why the hell would I use my snail-like Xbox.

If you can Skype and Game at the same time (I missed most of the reveal) then that's all I really need, it would be kickass to see the person you are playing with.

BC is right out. Completely different architecture. Also, fee on playing used games with HD installs being mandatory.

Oh, and Kinect is required. Also appears as if XBL titles will not function on it either.

XBLA not working is a huge hurt to me, considering my backlog is around 125 games. I'm sure I'll be getting it at some point, but not day one.
