It depends on the length you need. They're pretty cheap though. I'm pretty sure a 5 or 6 foot cable is only a few bucks.

Eh, some are tough. Whenever I get a new controller, I can try to work on the Halo dlcs again. There's a few easy GTA one's too, but I'd have to join sessions to do them.

Awesome, congrats! GH Hits isn't bad, VH is ridiculous ( I think I got around 700gs in it?). Rocksmith is great, pretty easy if you can play guitar.

On a side note from all the rhythm stuff, I think you'll find Sleeping Dogs pretty easy, and it's a great game to boot!

The combat mechanics are really good and so is the story. You can't complain if a game is good and easy for gamerscore!
