Death's adventure begins

Death’s personal mission to prove his brother's innocence begins later this month in Darksiders II. The latest trailer is in fact the new TV commercial, so you may see it numerous times in the next few weeks as THQ attempt to raise public awareness for the action-adventure sequel to Darksiders from Vigil Games. With the Apocalypse in full swing at the start of this half-minute commercial, Death swings into action and journeys to Hell to face a horde of demons and an enemy that even he may have a few problems with, but enough from me, check out the commercial for yourself below:



Darksiders II is due out later this month on August 14th in North America, August 17th in Europe and August 21st in the UK.

You know you're in pretty dire straights when the hero to save the day is Death. I'd go ahead and throw in the towel if I were a person in that situation.

Pre-ordered the collectors edition, gave in to the mask. 21st August can't come soon enough. Only have a month to play it though because Borderlands 2 is released here on September 21st!

The RPG elements in this game make it look better than the first already, RPG is my favourite genre so hopefully this lives up to my expectations.

Pre-ordered this from THQ to get the Season Pass for the DLC for free. This will be an awesome game, thanks for the sequel Vigil! Wish they would have manufactured more of the Collector's Edition though cry

Got my Collector's Edition on pre-order, can't wait to pick it up. The Death Mask is gonna go right next to my Doctor Jack in the Box from Assassins Creed Brotherhood and my Marcus Statue from Gears 3. And when I get Borderlands 2, the Loot Box will join them.

lets hope they don't attempt to milk us with dlc or multiplayer or additional achievements crap. the game is already showing signs of milking us. but the first was a surprise hit for them and now they are borderline bankrupt. it would seem they have designed the sequel to fill their pockets. the first game was perfect and 30+ hours. i really have the feelng without those "side missions" this game will be a third of that. we shall see. for sure not a blind buy. going to need a TA review before I play this!

Still need to play the first one, probably when it drops to $10. I played some of the demo for the first Darksiders and it definetly reminded of Legend of Zelda with its dungeons smile
