Hybrid Pulled From Marketplace Due to Server Issue

Update: The game is available on the marketplace once again and the server issue should no longer exist.

Original Article: After a day of server issues, Microsoft has pulled the Summer of Arcade third-person shooter Hybrid from the marketplace until things get sorted. Microsoft issued a statement on the matter:

We'd like to confirm that we have identified a problem and are in the process of finding a solution. We will make the game available as soon as we can, and we apologize for the inconvenience! Thank you for your patience in the meantime.The creative director behind Hybrid, 5th Cell’s Jeremiah Slaczka, took to the game’s forums to issue a statement as well as apologizing to those eager to play on launch day:

We are working with Microsoft to fix these server issues. Many people from both 5TH Cell and MS are working together to sort the problem out. We are making progress, but it will take time unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvenience, however we don't foresee this problem to continue once it's fixed.Sounds like the problem has been identified and is being worked on, but as 5th Cell said it will “take time”. Therefore, no timeline has been set for the game’s re-release and those excited to play will just have to sit tight a bit longer. Anyone manage to get a match in today?

Wow, must be pretty serious for this kind of action be taken. Probably doesn't help that it's a marquee title for their summer promotion.

I played several matches before the sever issues started and it's a really unique and fun 3rd person shooter, but this should teach 5th Cell to rely on M$ for anything resembling competency in their profession.

This is a bit surprising to me. The beta worked just fine. Didn't encounter any issues at all.

I'm kinda happy for this!
It will teach devs to include some form of single player in a game.
I understand some people bought the game and couldn't even get to the main screen because you need a server for that!!!
