| Not happy to see the return of the F1 2011 racing line... The F1 2010 one was way better.. Not that I'll be buying this game, though.. |

| Well it looks good, but I really hope that the game isnt like the real sport, because it's as boring as f**k to watch nowadays lol |

Have you actually watched any of this years races? It's far from boring. The game is officially licensed, so they're going to try and make it as close to the real F1 as they can. zMiseryBusiness said:The ONLY way I see F1 being any fun is if they have an option in the settings to totally turn off the flags and rules, meaning you can try ram all other cars off the track >:) But the past two games haven't had this option. I honestly can't tell whether you're joking or not... If you expect to play dodge em cars, F1 really isn't the place to look. The whole idea of F1 is not to hit other cars, as a tiny bit of contact can mess up your car.
Why would you look at news for a game that you have no intention of buying or any interest in? |

Tully, I DO have an interest in F1. I DO watch it on TV, and I KNOW F1 isn't a crashing game.. Jeez. But sometimes I wish I could ram cars off the track.. Is that wrong? Lighten up, man |

| If the game has auto steering & auto braking, they might as well have a option to turn all the rules/flags off. |

If you're going to drive with all the flags off, crashing into everyone, why even play F1 at all? There are much better games for that like Burnout or Split Second.
And it's not a case of lightening up MiseryBusiness. It's people who drive like that online who piss off the people who have chosen to buy this game in the hope of some good clean racing. Like I said, playing F1 like that isn't even that fun. It wasn't designed to be played like that. Another game would be better for you if that's the kind of thing you like. |

| Also, I just spotted they've blurred out the FM4 logo on the racing wheel you can see throughout the video. |

I've loved playing the 2 games we've had so far in the series 'reboot', so it's highly likely that I'll buy this at, or very soon after, release.

As the last statement in the newest video states this game is again going to be "a thinking man's racing game", and here's hoping it stays that way! If you don't like that approach, then there's plenty destruction derby-esque titles that are probably more suited to your preferred style.

I yearn for an F1 game with true to life strategy and setup yet we will never get one. When Arcade racer developers talk about handling physics I do laugh, those cars look awful, to quote Steve Hood regarding F1 2010 cars handling like TRON light cycles, that's exactly how they look, again.
Still undecided F1 2012 I adhore F1, this season is great so far, but, I only moved to 2011 purely for the safety car and co-op championship, multiplayer was abysmal and the AI were too poor. Substantial Co-op changes are needed, I would like an option to race in separate teams (I know, take co-op out of the equation but still), Safety Car needs over hauling, track safety lights need to be fully functional, not just SC related, Multiplayer needs improving, harsher penalties for dirty POS's would be nice, AI MUST. BE. A. CHALLENGE, I hate deliberately qualifying at the back, and being in the top 5 in a couple of laps on Legendary, it would never happen in real life races, it should happen in a game.
The ability to tweak brake balance during a lap is a nice step, miss that from the F1 games on PS2/3, be nice to have it back. |

Leave us real F1 fans in peace!Agreed, it's these destruction derby mentality people that make F1 2010 and F1 2011 appalling to play online. The amount of times I've had penalties, when turning through a U-bend and someone punts into the side of me on purpose, ruins my race. The sad thing is, people who race properly on these games get punished. It's about time Codemasters sorted out the penalty system. If you are going over a certain speed at a corner, it should turn your car ghost so it's not possible to ruin other people's races.
EDIT - Agree with everything Apexios says in his second paragraph too. |

I don't mind playing F1 games for what they are - F1 simulators, but for fuck sake, I just want to be able to turn the rules off and "play dirty" once in a while. Everyone's telling me this isn't the game for me.. well all I will say to all of you is that people get fun in different ways and play games differently, and if I'd like to see an option to turn all rules and flags off then why not? It's just my opinion.
"Leave us F1 fans in peace?" Did you not read what I said? I am an F1 fan I wish people on this site would stop being so serious. It's getting ridiculous how people are so quick to jump down someone's throat over a comment. |

Looks epic again! As for bashing and crashing, theyve made games for that, burnout being a classic and brilliant example, f1 is just a pure racing game, and why are people on here complaining its gona be shit, when they probabaly buy fifa or cod every year, aint that the same shit? End of the day, from the truly terrible ea games, people for years wanted more f1 games, codemasters do an insanely incredible job with it but still its not good enough, which is a shame that people think l;ike that because the last 2 games have been truly amazing, and it will only keep getting better

Also, webber for champion!!!!!!!All some people want is more realism. For example, Lotus, HRT and Marussia, would never get a top ten position, yet you can easily win races with these cars on the game. My main issues are this and online in general. |
