Full Rock Band Blitz Setlist Revealed

Full Rock Band Blitz Setlist Revealed

It wouldn't be a proper rhythm game release without some Foo Fighters, would it?

Written by Matrarch on 13 August 12 at 15:10

Harmonix's upcoming XBLA title, Rock Band Blitz, is set to bring beat-match gameplay to the XBox LIVE Arcade in less than a month. Since its announcement back in March, we've received news of the game's setlist through one or two partial setlist reveals.

Now, Harmonix has released the full setlist:

The All-American Rejects – “Kids in the Street”
Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away”
Barenaked Ladies – “One Week”
Blink-182 – “Always”
Collective Soul – “Shine”
Elton John – “I’m Still Standing”
Fall Out Boy – “A Little Less Sixteen Candles, A Little More ‘Touch Me’”
Foo Fighters – “These Days”
Foster the People – “Pumped Up Kicks”
Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe – “We Are Young”
Great White – “Once Bitten Twice Shy”
Kelly Clarkson – “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”
Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
Iron Maiden – “The Wicker Man”
Living Colour – “The Cult of Personality”
Maroon 5 – “Moves Like Jagger”
My Chemical Romance – “Sing”
P!nk – “Raise Your Glass”
Queen – “Death on Two Legs”
Quiet Riot – “Metal Health (Bang Your Head)”
Shinedown – "Diamond Eyes (Boom-Lay Boom-Lay Boom)”
Soundgarden – “Spoonman”
Red Hot Chili Peppers – “Give It Away”
Rick Springfield – “Jessie’s Girl”
Tears for Fears – “Shout”
The return of Spoonman and Give it Away? Yes, please!

Don't forget that ALL of these tracks will be exportable into Rock Band 3. Also, your DLC tracks will work in Blitz, so there's actually going to be a lot more longevity in the track list than there may seem to be initially.

Rock Band Blitz will be released on August 29th for 1200 MSP.

Awesome, though I'm not sure why some songs that we've already had (Spoonman, for example, though that might be the only one) are making an appearance again. Oh well, I'll be buying and playing the Hell out of this.

Therefore they are making a return in Blitz, thus making them available in Rock Band 3 as well. The community eagerly wanted both songs back from what I can gather, and I'm looking forward to playing Spoonman on Pro Drums myself, so there's that. Seems like a good choice.

Nice to see them return.. which maybe means we can hold on out a little hope for Metallica to come back to RB :D

Raise Your Glass? Moves like Jagger? Pumped up Kicks?

I'm all for new songs, but not craptastic ones like these.

Pass until it's at least 50% off.

I'm happy to see a return of Spoonman and Give it Away which hopefully means they will be exportable to RB3.

Not sure if I want to buy this, the setlist isn't too appealing to me but some songs do stand out.

Personally I'm very happy about the inclusion of these songs.. I like to see some of the more popular family friendly stuff to play that my kids can actually sing along too

Overall I think the setlist is a pretty good mix catering to almost everyone.. besides all your previously owned DLC will work with the game anyway so if you don't like something on there you'll have something else to choose ;)

Spoonman and Give It Away, now exportable to Rock Band 3? Heck yes!!

Not a fan of half this list, but what songs I do enjoy, plus DLC, will make this a great game!!

Looking at the setlist quickly, I can find 10 songs I would like to play in Rock Band. Normal DLC price: $20. Actual price for those songs + a new game + other songs that I won't play as much, but may be useful to have around = $15.

Seems like a good buy to me! Can't wait for release day!

Look at it this way, if you were to buy all these songs seperately remembering that each track would cost 160msp, you would have to spend 4000msp. Now, let's take off the price of those three you don't like and it would cost you 3520msp. Now, that's 65% off for you and 70% off for everyone else. So, by your own standards you should buy this title.

I already have quite a few RB songs downloaded so I think it will be a decent completion
