, unsurprisingly got a nice chunk of time in the spotlight during EA's conference at Gamescom. With tons of new content on the way, EA have revealed a new Premium Edition of the game in which those who have yet to try the title can bag themselves pretty much everything Battlefield 3
related so far and everything coming in the future.
The Battlefield 3
Premium Edition will include all five extension packs, including the two map packs which are currently available, "Back to Karkand
" and "Close Quarters
", and the three upcoming packs, "Armored Kill"
", and "End Game"
. On top of this, EA have also stated that the Premium Edition will include the "Battlefield 3 Head-start Kit"
to give the newest of players a bit of help with its 15 weapons unlocks alongside gadget and vehicle unlocks.
With the announcement of the Premium Edition, DICE & EA have also released a new trailer showcasing a mix of previously seen and unseen gameplay from old and upcoming map packs:
The upcoming Premium Edition of Battlefield 3
is set for release on September 11th for North America, and September 13th for Europe, with a price tag of $69.99/€59.99. Does this make for an attractive price-point for those interested in picking up the game?
