If you're one of the millions of first person shooter fans out there that can't wait to get their annual Call of Duty fix, you'll be pretty excited by the multiplayer gameplay trailers from the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops II, that Treyarch and Activision showed today at Gamescom.

In all their are four videos which feature three different multiplayer game modes: Multi-Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch and Hardpoint - and four multiplayer maps (no Nuketown 2025 isn't one of them).

Turbine Multi-Team Deathmatch:

Cargo Hardpoint Gameplay:

Yemen Deathmatch Gameplay:

Aftermath Hardpoint Gameplay:

Also released were a number of screenshots of the fast-paced multiplayer action, including another look at some of the new futuristic kill streak rewards that were shown in the multiplayer reveal trailer released last week.

It seems the more they try to improve CoD games, the worse they get. MW3 was byfar the best online, campaign, and extra content since WaW, BO II will be on my list, but not a D1 pickup unless they have good preorder bonuses AND a Hardened Edition

there was info about the points to spend on customization, which they stated means that you could come up with 1000's of different combination; All perked out with crappy weapons, or all gunned out were just two examples

EVERYONE has an opinion about Call of Duty, it honestly just becomes exhausting listening to it. There also seems to be a trend of CoD hate. To those people I say, you know what the game is, how it plays and if you don't like it, don't buy it. The developers don't do everything right but there's no denying how brilliant and intense the game can be online.

SoiledDoughnut - So they've added a limited time only variation of TDM to Black Ops 2 where you get 150 pts per kill instead of 100 pts.

I'm a CoDaholic and I have to say I can't wait for this. MW3 was an unfortunate disappointment but this I'm confident I'll have fun with.

This looks really good. Loved the first Black Ops and this seems to make good on its promise to make it even bigger and better. My only concerns now are weapon balancing (No more AA-12s or FAMASs please), and whether there will still be the assault/support/specialist packages like in MW3. I hope they remove support, but keep the specialist package just the way it is; that would be awesome.

I also agree that they should get rid of the support package.....or get rid of the assault killstreaks within it, like stealth bomber and emp....those should be in the assault package not support

Yes, yes, multiplayer looks good and as long as Treyarch keeps Black Ops balance, with some tweaks it should be very enjoyable.

Now...where are my zombies?

It does look pretty good. I still don't plan on getting this right away though. I'll wait till it drops down in price. (BTW, can someone explain to me the hate I see for MW3's MP? As someone who can't stand MW2's MP in anything other than a Barebones playlist, I actually rather enjoy MW3's MP. I still like BO better, but I think MW3 fixed a lot of what I hated about MW2.)

Looks very good and plays very good...for now.

Also, a fun little tidbit: if you listen carefully to the music that plays in the Aftermath Hardpoint trailer, it's the exact same track that plays in Army of Two: The 40th Day when Rios and Salem encounter the two hostages at the beginning of mission two.

Looks pretty good. I'm glad they're trying to improve the CoD series now.

But, Zombies will either make it or break it for me and it will help make me decision to buy it D1 or not.

They have tried to improve cod since the first cod. Each cod is improved. So If you are saying WAW is the best then. They have "improved" the game 3x since then.

MW3 is ok. I woudl say BO2 will be better. It looks to be nice and refined. Nothnig to crazy going on. Nice guns. I few subtle features and equipment and some new game modes.

That game was amazing. The campaign in MW3 I thought was shit, just the entire story in general. The 'extra content' you speak of was a map and a spec ops mission for 1200 MSP. Activision gets greedier by the year, and they won't stop.

They most likely will stop including a Veteran Edition each year, because they finally realized how shitty the RC-XD was, and the Night Vision Goggles.

Now, honestly, I'm picking this game up because I want to see how badly they fail. Same reason each year. The year they actually pull it off again is the year I retire.
